Someone's already spilled the beans about Bob. Apparently he thinks Corinne is a fake bitch and is lying to her, and he voted for Susie because Randy promised him his jury vote if he did, remember?

HMMMM . .just stumbled upon this . . Bob's story might be real:
Reality TV World: How far away from the tribal camps was that feast beach? Were you ever worried that someone -- like [maybe someone that went] on a hike while in Exile -- could've managed to sneak back to the beach find [the Idol] washed up on shore? Randy: Hmm. I think there's some things there that I'm not allowed to talk about, but let me just say that there was no chance of anybody from the tribes going back to that beach and finding the Idol. |

No, he's just referring to the location confidentiality. I don't think he means it like you're thinking.

I usually don't post on this board anymore but after that episode I just had to... That was probably one of the most funniest and humilitating blindesides
ever except for Erik maybe. Anyways one question for the whole "Bob was just trying to explain to Corraine how he got the idol" thing... Wouldn't
the Idol be REAL if Marcus kept it and shown it to him?
I know that he probably would say Marcus made the fake one and he picked it up but how would that be useful in Marcus's point of view if Corraine can think that far? Also I know chances are slim and I have to re-watch the clip of Marcus putting it in the bottle and throwing it but is there even the slightest chance that Marcus did keep the idol and because of the tribeswitch showed it to Bob and editing didn't show us because they wanted it to be a surprise? Someone also mentioned that in one of Marcus's interviews he said he didn't have the idol or keep it but could he be bluffing for the surprise... chances are about 0.1% but if that happens it will be amazing! |

Sorry but I"m confused. What location confidentiality? It seems like Randy really had to think about how he answered the question.

Bob could easily play it off by saying that Sugar made the fake idol and put it where the real idol is supossed to go.

Not to mention they probably talk about everything out there and Corinne could easily bring it up to Sugar, and then bam. I think he'd try to tell Corinne
that the HII at the feast was fake all along and was just a test for temptation or sumfin'.

Has anyone here given a thought to whether it COULD be actually true and that all interviews of Marcus are just to
mislead us because this could be the climactic moment of this season? (*And to think it happens after the recap).. Im still looking for that video cap of the
floating bottle.. Hmm..

Survivorbench I'm thinking exactly along the same lines as you are, it may be real. Bob wouldn't tell Corraine the stuff in the preview because
Corraine saw the idol at the feast and the only thing Bob can say is that Marcus showed me a fake one which he will not say. The whole temptation thing is
bullshit and Corraine ain't that stupid and would not fall for it.
If Marcus really did somehow manage to keep the idol that's one of the smartest moves in the game... yea it didn't get him anywhere but still it was extremely smart. The only drawback for this whole idea of the Bob actually having the idol is that how could Marcus be so clever to take the idol and throw the bottle in seconds without no one noticing, everyone was looking in that direction and it would be obvious if Marcus took it. |

Umm, no. It's never going to happen.

But why will it never happen? Can someone give us like a concrete reason why?

But what's up with this?? I thought Bob was BSing in next week's preview about someone hiding that idol...could it really be true?? It can't be... |

Obviously, it's 5 against 2 at this point.
Bob and Corinne did not even know that Sugar holds the actual HII at this point. Unless one of them wins the II, they are gone....Pagong gone-ish, without separate tribes. I can't wait until the sharks go at one another! |

survivorbench wrote: Because if Bob has had Marcus' hidden II ever since the Marcus blindside, he would not have been so desperate about being the next to go if his tribe went to TC again before the merge. He was overjoyed to be sent to Exile that first time and acknowledged that finding the HII was his only chance to stay in the game. Then, when he rejoined everyone at the IC, with nothing but a fake to show for his efforts, he nearly burst into t.ears of relief when Jeff told them to drop their buffs and announced the merge. There's no way we would have seen that level of desperation if he already had the safety of the idol Marcus supposedly retrieved. |
