it's no ancient chinese secret, our inner workings. if she is into him, she will be happy to get the call. if she is not, it will be awkward and over
quickly. no big whoop. waiting a year is a bit odd. perhaps you should go back to the stalking and you know, run into her accidentally. are there only a few
women in your locality?

Does Vicc really live on a farm? I thought that was a rumor...

Just call her up and tell her that you've been thinking about her recently and was wondering how she was doing. If she's single, looking for someone,
and not not filled with paranoia, she'll be flattered. If she's married, not open to relationships right now, or thinks you are creepy for calling her,
then you didn't stand a chance anyways. Man up!

Just call her. Tell her you ran across her card the other day and called the office to invite her out for coffee only to find out she's not there anymore.
You're sorry for calling her at home and you'd still like to take her out for a cup of coffee. Ask her what she's doing now for work, blah, blah,
blah.... small talk but only for about 5-10 minutes - that is if she is willing to go for coffee. (Set an egg timer if you need to keep it brief.)
She may be seeing someone. If she is that awesome, she may be off the market. Hell, she could be married! Point being, just call and find out. Be as honest and upfront as possible. Bullshit schmooze doesn't work and she'll just be wondering why you called her at home in the first place. Be brief and be brilliant. |
