"This won't end well" as a subnic... prescient?

Look, I am not sure of all the intricacies involved in straight people dating -- ugh, such complications, so many nuances to figure out (let's blame the women for this, mostly, just for fun).

But I do know this: when a dude contacts me after a YEAR of separation, I think three things:

1) Guess he really liked me and didn't forget about me.

2) If he liked me that much, what the fuck was he waiting for?

3) He must be even more of a freak than I originally thought.

So... there's something complimentary and sweet about having someone in mind for that long but there's also something really creepy about such a delay.

I'd also urge you to go through with it but I'm curious as to what a straight woman would think about such a situation?

Surely the ugly, desperate women would be all over it. But this woman of whom you speak isn't ugly or desperate, judging by your description.

So what would a fairly attractive woman feel to be on the receiving end of an out-of-the-blue reconnect?

Do we have any fairly attractive women online right now who can give you some insight into what will go through her head?
