I've noticed there has been a serious lack of funny teams recently. Exlcuding team Cha Cha Cha from All Stars, when was the last time there was a team that made you crack up because they were genuinley funny? We need more Ken/Gerards, Cha Cha Chas, and Kevin/Drews. These are my favorite teams to root for which would probably explain why I haven't really liked a team in a long time. Especially with the boring ass cast of this season, we need some fucking funny teams.

what the hell does that mean.A horrifying reminder of what can happen when you cast "intentionally funny teams" - i.e. a season of BJ/Tyler yelling "PIZZA PIE!" I think the lack of funny teams was much more of a problem in TAR10 - Ken's reasonably good at dropping the odd one-liner (more than the Chos, Lyns, BQs or Druggies at least) |

Fake hippies were stupid but still more entertaining then the F4 here IMO >.>
ITA about the funny people, it's amazing they haven't casted a stand up comedy duo yet! |

I'd rather take the risk then to just stop casting them. Besides, they're usually better than most of the cast even if they are more annoying then
funny.

"New York Jews in Iceland" is still more quotable than anything from Nick/Starr or Toni/Dallas tho. Most developed first boots ever.
I liked the Hippies and Frats more than Mojo and Rayo, so I'd normally be okay with even failed funny teams (like Dandrew, who are so depressing they create their own vortex of misery <3) - then I saw Marc/Rovilson and lost the will to live

Roadie speaks the truth, but there's also a difference between intentionally funny teams who probably packed a joke book for every possible race situation
("I don't play volleyball but I watch womens' volleyball"; "We are waiting in the airport to buy tickets so let's balance the clue
on our noses in a desperate bid for airtime") vs. intentionally and naturally funny people who think up great one-liners as the situation warrants
("Charla's gonna fall in love!"; "Just pretend there's a dozen glazed donuts at the bottom!").

Oh yeah. Brian/Greg were great. The only alpha males that I liked <3 <3 <3
Dandrew should take lessons from them - on how to be an incompetent male team and yet still be hilarious at the same time. |

I LOATHE the comedy teams. The original frats, the clowns, the hippies. All HATE.
That being said I loved Brian/Greg becuase they seemed so genuine and no one made me laugh more than Kelly/Jon. They knew how to turn a phrase and were good at being catty and could put their money where their mouths were race-wise. (Kelly?Christie failed at life in this regard). I also thought the BQs were great at dishing it out at their haters in the races. |
