Chet, did Probst read the votes like he would normally, or did he just tell you guys to revote? Meaning, did they lead you to believe that the tie and the
revote was going to be aired on TV, or did you know they weren't going to show it to us? I don't know why they didn't show it to us.

When we had the revote, Mikey and I did not vote, everyone else did. Probst read them the first time like he normally does with all of the suspense etc. Then
when it was a tie, he said revote without chet and Mikey voting. Then he read them again all suspensefull etc which at that time Joel changed his vote from
Jason to Mikey and we all know the rest. I was sitting next to Mikey and it was uncomfortable as I pretty much knew (or hoped I did) what the final result
would be. When Jeff says "Let's Tally the votes" and walks away, he is gone for at least a half hour or longer. They never show that part, you
just sit there on those dame uncomfortable fake logs and wait for the results.
Thanks...good question |

So was the tie Chet, Kathy, Tracy, Natalie
vs. Mikey, Jason, Alexis, Erik? So I guess Tracy was the key person pushing for a Mikey boot, or else Jason could have gone? The editing at the start made us assume that Natalie was Alexis's follower, but I guess she played her own game and had her own friends. |

The weird split votes were due to HII fears, weren't they? |

Natalie seemed to always be the swing vote, but after the vote, Natalie would look at me and wink and I knew I was safe.

The only one who voted Jason was Joel. But then changed it when he saw that he would be the one to break the tie between Mikey and I. Let me tell you, I was
relieved, but still confident that it was going to go the way it did. In the beginning, Tracy Kathy and I were always safe even though Tracy and I got votes,
because key people knew that the three of us would always vote their way (which was always three votes) as long as we were not one of them. Personally I
wanted Jason to go from day one and if the tribes had not switched, Joel agreed that the three of us and he would get rid of Jason the next tribal. So had we
not switched, Jason's smelly ass would have been gone long before me.

If the tribes had not switched, would it have mattered? Airai was doomed with that strategy. You'd have soon been forced to join Jason in Loser Lodge.

It was still a dumb move for Joel. He could keep strong people that are on his side vs. weaker people who are just trying to save themselves and have no long
lasting loyalty to him ... as evident in episode 5.

craig wrote: Yeah, I just said that on the previous page. Erik and Joel both switched their votes (which is why it was 6-3 for Mikey B to leave). The editing at the start made us assume that Natalie was Alexis's follower, but I guess she played her own game and had her own friends. No shit. Did you really believe Parvati was controlling her the entire game? Oh wait, you probably did. Come on. This is also why it pisses me off that no one thinks Natalie has the game won if Amanda doesn't find the idol. Her and Alexis are sitting pretty for the rest of the game after Amanda leaves. She was not Parvati's follower, and it would have been a complete 180 on the show with Parvati following Natalie had the producers not unfairly rehid the idol. |

Amanda's idol had to be the most easiest to find ever.

Natalie did have a good game, though - if not for Amanda's idol she would've been F3 for sure: any switchup at F5 (which was unlikely) would've left Alexis on the outs, not Natalie, since she was close with Parv. Amanda's idol wasn't unfair though.. I mean, Jason found his in one visit as well, so it's not as though Amanda's was any easier. |

unduli clone wrote: Well, since it was a final two, it would have been Natalie and Alexis barring an immunity win from Erik at the final 4 and final 3 or Parvati at the final 3. I don't know if Natalie would have beaten Alexis, but she would have destroyed Parv in the jury questioning. Amanda staying in general after recieving the most votes is unfair to me. Just like it was unfair when Yau Man stayed in the game over Stacy. Also, in just the previous season, the idol was not rehidden when James left the game. I don't see why they had to bring it back for Micronesia especially when if Ozzy had not told people he had the idol/people didn't look through Jason's bag, no one would know it was out of the game when those two left. |

To be fair, Cirie was willing to force a tie to try to keep Amanda in the game. And Amanda has said in post show interviews that Cirie was going to vote for
Alexis, but Amanda told her to vote for her instead, so that she could guarantee that there was enough votes for the idol to take effect.
