Also Colin bringing the much needed competitiveness<3. TAR11-Charla & Mirna 2 was even better<3; but worst.winners.ever! TAR2-Tara&Will may be the most complex team ever on the race; they manage to completely own the race while bickering the entire time and being hugely entertaining<3. But the crappy jock winners produced a disappointing ending. Hated (kinda') TAR4-no likebale teams except maybe Kelly&Jon. TAR7-didn't care about any of the final 3 teams. Danny and Oswald also got TWO fast forwards, so.... I guess while they may statistically be the best, without those FF's, Dustin & Kandice probably take the cake.

If the BQs had gotten there first, they could have taken them. Even if the Chas hadn't taken the Poland FF, they were guaranteed to beat the BQs due to the bunching, and they fairly got ahead of the BQs in flight manouevring into Hong Kong so would have a decent chance of staying ahead of them at the tasks given how simple they were - even if they didn't, Charla/Mirna got lost finding the ferry and Eric/Danielle had a later flight, so the worst they could conceivably have finished is 2nd. And even with two second place finishes, they'd still be statistically stronger than the BQs. Even if that weren't true, you could use the same logic to invalidate all of Eric/Danielle's worst performances due to the Yield (which definitely benefited the BQs both times). Not that I'm denying that they ran a great race for the second half, but they were mediocre for the first six legs while the Chas were noticeably better. I only wanted to point out their 2 fast forwards (extremely unfair). I don't think the Chas handle exhaustion very well, as they started out relatively well both seasons but crapped out in the end.

Everyone seemed so innocent and genuine, and the only season that was full of world landmarks. TAR2 - great cast, loved the southern-hemisphere centric course that it made it look so sunny. TAR3 - Best elimination order ever, awesome hilarious cast. TAR5 - One of the best casts ever, the only season to visit all 6 inhabited continents. Comedy Gold. TAR10-I have a soft spot for the BQs and the westward course was pretty awesome the first time around. TAR12-The best season ever, up until the end.

There's no problem with people hating Romber if they just passed by a car that got toppled over. For crying out loud, it is the production crew that got seriously injured over the team Brian & Greg. Surely you should care a little about the ones behind the scenes that will make you (in)famous?

If I was in that position, I would have stopped, but think of the position they were in. Almost every team irrationally hated Rombers guts, and it is perfectly understandable to think, "Hey, you hate us? Don't come crying when the sand mites get you." People can only be pushed so far. I mean it was ridiculous, what the fuck did Rob ever do to them?

Stole their cabs, blocked doorways, stubbornly refused to own up despite being caught out on a lie, making fun of Gretchen's head injury... Not that I think what they did was wrong, but it's just as stupid to think there's no reason for the other teams to hate them as that there's no way to defend their actions. On TAR11 when Rob wasn't being an elitist douche, no-one had any problem with him (until Amber lied to Mirna and she was understandably pissed).

And really, most of that was Mirna looking for a way to villify someone else because she likes to play the moralist (see also: taxi drama in Chile, taxi drama in Poland, complaining about the use of the Yield when IT DIDN'T AFFECT THEM WHATSOEVER, "Have you ever done anyone in your life a favor?!", and the constant haraunging of Charla).

Not really, no. Largely since I didn't find them dull at all. My ideas of dull were TAR2, TAR8, and TAR10's winners, and ESPECIALLY TAR13's.

There was an open hostility before the Phil said "Go!". Besides, none of the teams aver actually said that they were offended by Rombers tactics, they were offended by Rombers very existence. I've never heard a good argument against Boston Rob. Yes, he is immature and can be spiteful, but wouldn't you be when you have psychotic attention whores like Lynn and Alex up your ass or people you once considered your friend poison your very name(Lex)?

But he started off the race in full-asshole mode. I don't think many of the racers, apart from Lynn and Patrick, were that bothered about his previous experience - just the fact he was making enemies far too early on. And Romber did more to actively impede the other teams than vice-versa, so Lynn/Alex weren't exactly "up their ass", they were just fellow annoying drama queens. Like All-Stars, there were players who completely overreacted to Rob and those who had a perfectly legitimate reason to hate him (e.g. Lex being a douche about being betrayed vs. Big Tom being pissed at him for making fun of his son for no game-related reason).

Obviously on his other show(Against all odds), he needs to learn the finer arts of subtle manipulation and persuasion, but he is at least very eager and earnest to win. I think when people like Susan post here and give patronizing, snarky comments about him when she and others knew before hand what he was like and capable of, that screams self rightiousness and pettiness. Romber rarely interacted with the other teams, but they were still the center of attention. It just goes to show how weak that particular cast was, and how delightful it was to see Romber shove their pretentiousness in their face. I'm not saying Rob can't be an asshole, but I just don't buy into the over the top hatred of him. And as far as All Stars goes, Tom never heard that comment, and he was only pissed because Rob didn't fuck himself over and hand Tom the million. The truth will never be rectified because people are too upset and angry that ASS didn't end up the way they wanted it too.

HAYDEN <33333 I'm mostly saying that because I managed to go to most/all the places the teams went to in Xian and I even walked on the location where they filmed the pitstop. <33333333 TAR3 - John Vito/Jill were my favorite team and we had one of the best F3 ever. No one was hated and cunty Flo winning was indeed truly epic. LOVED the Vietnam legs. TAR5 - One of the best race courses but no real eye candy except Dennis/Erika and they were the first team out of the race. This was the first time my preshow favorite got eliminated on episode 1. TAR4 - Too many M/M teams but David/Jeff and Kelly/Jon were LOVE. Great destinations.
