Does that mean someone is going to lose by a bunch of rules next week? I don't get why Charlie called him a nice guy though at tribal council if that "comment" really affected what he thought about Ken.

The only experience I had with him were those three hours we spent as a merged tribe after the challenge and before Tribal Council. The other thing with Ken was when Dan, Susie, and Randy came into our tribe, I learned Ken had been calling me "fag" behind my back. LOLZ, I sure would think it came from bitter randy. I'm sure he used that to snake his way into the onion alliance. Serves him right!

I doubt he'd been calling Charlie "fag" behind his back. That just seems like an extremely stupid thing to do, and it implies that Kenny had used the word more than once, and this information comes from Randy too. I give him the benefit of the doubt. If he did ever use the word, that's not bad. I'm sure he's got nothing against gays. Gays use the word all the time.

Marcus and Charlie? Randy and Corinne seem like they'd say the same thing, and none of Matty, Crystal, Bob or Susie strike me as people who'd be concerned with it. And Sugar will believe whatever Kenny tells her, of course. It won't make another Clay Jordan moment, I'm sure.

If he did call Charlie that, then this would be the same Ken who targeted Charlie for no reason other than a personal grudge, and was then so unsure about how his actions would come across that he had to add an "I'm not homophobic" line. I don't know whether it's true or not, but it does help explain exactly why he had such issues with Charlie. I give him the benefit of the doubt. If he did ever use the word, that's not bad. I'm sure he's got nothing against gays. Gays use the word all the time. That's like saying no one should care about Randy's "posse" or "gang" comments, since black people sometimes use the same words. Those comments were met with outrage by a lot of people here. If Ken said that he heard Charlie made anti-Asian slurs about him, I'm sure that would also be met with a lot of outrage. It won't make another Clay Jordan moment, I'm sure. None of the votes in the Thailand season were influenced by what Ted said about Clay, from what I remember. I doubt it will be brought up, because Charlie said he didn't think about what they'd told him until he saw the show and realized how personal Ken's anger at him was.

To me, actions speak louder than words. If you say "fag" or "that's so gay" I don't care. It's just words. If you treat me with the same respect as a straight person, I've got no problem with you... and that's why I have more straight friends than most gay people do. Are you saying Ken is the first to do that? There's no explaining what is a "good" personal grudge. It seems to me that Corrine hates Susie because she's 47! Is that a good reason? Maybe Ken made his "I'm not homophobic but" comment because that rumour had been spread about him, partly by someone that hates black people, so he was trying to say his vote wasn't for Charlie just because he's gay to counter what was put on the show. As it turns out the rumours weren't put on the show. Ken doesn't know what they hell they're going to edit into the show, does he? A fag is always going to be a cigarette to me, so whatever.
