Definitely think it's going to be Matty proposing to his girlfriend. I first saw it speculated back when we saw him making the ring, and why the hell else
would they have shown that? It really had nothing to do with anything.

Either Randy's dead dog shows up at the Family Visit or Randy wins the Family Visit Challenge and gives it to someone else.
OR 2 people fall in love and 1 gives Immunity to the other and gets voted off. But it's probably just Matty proposing to his girlfriend at the Family Visit. |

I don't think that it is Matty proposing to his girlfriend. We have already seen two marriage proposals already. The more famous one was between 2
contestants which would top any proposal that Matty would make to his girlfriend who is unknown to the viewers. Also, way back in the Outback season, Keith
proposed to his girlfriend via the Internet.
I'm going with production bringing Randy the urn containing the ashes of his dog, Johnson. He has no friends or family that can visit him. |

I guess I just don't see how dog ashes would be considered the "most endearing moment in Surivor history".

If it is indeed the family visit, and you think it's either Matty or Randy... whoever you think it is will be safe in the next episode so they can make it
to two episodes from now, since the next reward challenge is an auction. Unless they auction off loved ones again like in Guatemala...

What about Bob? He fell apart with the 'letters from home', maybe Randy wins and gives it to Bob?

I can't wrap my head around this whole Randy/Dog situation. He's been edited as such a vile prick to date (as in the type of person who would swerve to
hit an animal while driving and then have a hearty chuckle as he sped off, watching the body twitch in his rear view mirror) that I can't imagine a
complete 180 where he's suddenly this compassionate dog lover that viewers will not doubt sympathize with.

We have already seen two marriage proposals alreadyBut Keith and Rob got huge amounts of negative SPV and all-round negative edits, while Matty has been shown as loveable but harmless. Would Matty bringing his dog instead of his girlfriend be endearing? I'd just find it weird (weirder than Randy's ashes). Besides, I don't see how Randy can make F6 at this rate, unless he wins both immunity challenges. |

A Dying Clown wrote: The family visit has occurred as early as F7 in some seasons (eg. Cook Islands). I could see Randy lasting another 2 episodes. Ken and company have already voted out Charlie (who caused next to no drama in camp) before Randy. I can see them voting out Corinne (who was the first target suggested in the last episode), Bob and/or Sugar before getting rid of Randy. How a person is edited would not be a factor in Probst's judgement because he sees things as they actually happen not after watching the show. I can't see him picking a proposal of marriage by Matty (if it even happens which is doubtful) over a marriage proposal for a love affair that actually played out on the show. There was a very emotional Insider clip of Randy breaking down talking about his dead dog. It was quite a contrast to the gruff curmudgeon that the viewers have seen. |

tullfan2 wrote: Yeah, that clip was surprising. His reaction during that interview was similar to the way Bob reacted when he received his letters from home. So it could be an endearing moment, to see this big asshole, drop to his knees hysterical, over the ashes of his best friend, who just happens to be a dog that has been dead for 5 years. Especially since it has been 5 years since his dog has died, you would have thought he would get a new dog since then seeing that he really is all alone. |

Maybe Matty's dog comes to the Family Reward Challenge and Randy breaks down when he sees the dog and Matty offers to give the dog to Randy after the game?
Just a thought. |

just incase anyone hasnt figured this out
it can b anything with charlie and marcus A) marcus isnt gay (things can change but...) B) charlie and marcus could propose on ponderosa but they wouldnt show that during the actual show and the finale is always live (except for borneo) so JP wouldnt know if marcus proposes and it would b really anti climatic if they proposed on ponderosa and jeff only told us about it (no cliips) |

But something like that has happened before. In Guatemala, Lydia's brother I think it was, showed up for the loved one's visit, and she hadn't seen
him in years.

But Lydia was a woman and over the age of 35 and therefore didn't matter, so Probst probably doesn't even remember nor care about that.

Now I remember what the endearing moment might be. Remember our pre-season spoilers? It is the gorilla-punching-the-survivor-in-the-face moment!
Randy gets his ugly condescending smile slapped from his face by a Gabon gorilla and we are all so happy to see it happen to Randy that it endears us to the gorilla forever! |
