The last 15 minutes or so of episode 10 (final 9) are some of the best 15 minutes of the entire series. Episode 13 (final 6) is also pretty good, and the
finale was actually pretty entertaining too.
If you really are a true Survivor diehard fan, you'll watch the season in it's entirety.

Everyone but 1 person was a recruit. Half the alliances were along racial lines. Just a stupid, stupid season. Don't waste your time.

Every season of Survivor is worth watching at least once, which is all the viewing Fiji got from me where I've watched every other season besides that
and CI at least twice.

At the end of the day, it's still Survivor, and hence its better than 90% of TV, but the pre-merge stuff is fairly painful (especially before the swap).
Worth watching, but you could just start at the Final 9, which is when it actually gets good.

The Pre-merge was predictable and stupid, but I really didn't think it was that bad after they merged. Edgardo, Stacy, and Yau's boots were probably
the most memorable...but, it's always worth watching if it's Survivor.

I personally loved Fiji. Granted the have/have-not twist was a bad idea but the season as a whole was enjoyable.
*slip & slide *Lisi face plant *Yau acting goofy was funny *Rocky vs Anthony at tribal *Michelle falling *Idol being dug up right under Lisi *Mookie/Edgardo blindside *the first 7-0 Sole Survivor winner was worth it just for the history aspect *the trainwreck at final TC was epic for it's overall uncomfortablness *Lisi laughing at Yau at challenges and then he shines in them *Lisi being a bitch about the french press *Finally seeing Lisi get voted off was awesome to finally see the bitch go If you can look past the horrible have/have-not twist and the too obvious Earl wins (but seriously how could they hide that?) Fiji had many epic moments. |

Fiji made me stop watching Survivor.
But I picked up China in EP02 and had to go back and rewatch Fiji. Knowing how it ends, it's not quite so horrible. There are decent moments and challenges, but for the most part it's a complete monotone season with lots of really hate-able characters. So it's up to you... |

A true Survivor fan (as most of us here are) would watch the whole season. If anything, it'll make you appreciate some of the better seasons in terms of
casting, twists, challenges, editing and outcome.

Fiji was pretty dreadful. One hot chick quit before the show even started. They never even bothered to replace her. The other hot chick gets picked off pretty
early. You have other ppl wanting to quit during the show as well. The have and have nots twist was just retarded. The location just looked drab. Add to the
fact that the ppl were drab and loathsome, it just made the season drag on and on. The finalists sucked and you have a winner by default.
Gabon is much better location wise but I think absolutely nothing interesting has gone on all season. You'll find the cast of Fiji much more colorful. I think Gabon goes down in my book as one of the worst seasons ever.

I definitely didn't love Fiji, but it had its moments.
I enjoyed the hell out of Stacy & Lisi treating Cassandra & Dreamz like shit. Dreamz, Yau Man & the car was some good stuff. Dreamz, in general, was interesting to watch even though I couldn't stand the fucker. Stacy/Yau Man & the idol stuff towards the end was intriguing. Yau Man was a likeable character. Sylvia was entertaining while she was around. Lisi was nuts. The Edgardo blindside was some good shit. And Rocky was a real asshole. Anthony was a pussy, but I felt bad for him. Everybody not mentioned was forgettable, including the winner. |

Watch Fiji because you will then learn to appreciate the better and even mediocre seasons all that much more after viewing what is essentially 39 days of crap
on the island of Fiji.

To seriously answer the OP's question, yes, Fiji is worth watching. It's worth watching only one time (except maybe the F9, F6, and finale episodes)
because it's survivor. You will definitely be thinking, "This could have been done so much better if done properly," but the fact is, it
wasn't done properly. It's also worth watching for discussion purposes, and as someone said before, it will give you a new appreciation for seasons
like PI, which most sucksturds will rank as one of the best.
