The song "You're the Best" was written for Rockey 2 but they didn't use it Try to be best
Try to believe
History repeats itself
Never doubt that you're the one
You're the best!
Fight 'til the end
Ah you gotta be proud
Try your best to win them all
You're the best!
INSPIRING GUITAR SOLO You're the best!
Fight 'til you drop
You're the best!

I watched Karate Kid I, II, III and Next Karate Kid on cable channel. Few times that I watched KK III and NKK.

You know Ralph Machio is going to have some cheesy fucking cameo.
It is hard to believe that the actors in the karate kid series have more academy awards than the brat pack

Smith is far more appropriate as a kid than the 20-something Macchio was when they made the original.

That movie launched additional karate studios all over the country. Hollywood will produce remakes, it always has and always will but it is too soon for a movie as popular as KK was. You can get by with that a little more with comic book heroes but not with something like this. Even though the bad guys were over the top Ralph's portrayal as an awkward teen really sold it. |

r's right, it was a modern quotable classic. Macchio and Mr. Miyagi made the story new.
I say this today as I order a t-shirt for my brother's birthday that says "Put him in a body bag! YEAH!" |

What made it a classic was the molten lava chemistry between Pat Morita and Ralph Macchio. Oh and that crane in the sunset pose on a stump. |

BillNyeSurvivorGuy wrote:X Hollywood "remakes" old movies because it's a hell of a lot easier (and cheaper) than coming up with new ideas and scripts. And these "remakes" are aimed as much at those of us who grew up with the originals as they are at today's teens. It's the whole fucking "nostalgia" craze ... I guess the Hollywood fucktards think we "old fogeys" don't want to be challenged by anything new. |

Esp when they remake a movie based on a book that was based on a movie, which was based on a true life story. |

He was a teenager, not a little kid. And he was something like 26 years old.
