I had a bad experience wearing long johns when I was about 19.....

We used to go spend the night sleeping on the route the night before Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA. It was a very cold December and I knew it would get really cold.

I wore long johns under my jeans and drank a bottle of Seagrams with my girlfriend. It was sooo cold and I was soooo drunk that when I went into the port-a-potty to pee, I couldn't feel my butt from both cold and al-kee-hol, so I dropped my jeans and started peeing.....with the long johns still firmly in place. It was not a nice feeling to have pee (although warm!) run down the backs of both legs to my ankles.

Haven't worn long john's since - or slept on the route or drank 1/2 a bottle of Seagram's in one night.
