Now, there's certainly time for this season to slide... but I just don't see it. With China and Micronesia back 2 back, then adding on this season, we
have a pretty good streak of great seasons in a row. This should make up for Fiji.

Gabon is good so far, but I didn't like Micronesia as much as most people, but I guess I could still call it good.

Two episodes don't make for a great season.
I have hope that this season could end up being great, the potential is certainly there given who will be there for the merge. But at this point we've had six mediocre-at-best episodes followed by two that have finally started to pick up, and even then maybe only compared to the six disappointments that came before them. This season has a long way to go before it redeems itself enough to be called great. |

All 3 seasons have their moments but Micronesia sucked pre merge and China only had 1 or 2 great post merge episodes.

I think this is one of the better seasons, but I still like last season better. But a Crystal/Ken/Sugar/Susie final four would make this the best season ever.

I really like this season..this is going to be forgotten about in the future though i think,like I picked up the vanuatu DVD,I wasn't very pumped about
watching but whatever...I want to own all the survivor DVD's and when I watched it I totally forgot how good it was and realized I had not given it its due
while it was running,maybe because it followed All-stars..but anyway I think Gabon is gonna be one of those seasons that's a little on the underappreciated
side.And I love the fact that it's not on a tropical setting, like it's very dusty and dirty..perfect for such a ruthless game, and it's a little
breath of fresh air from seeing so many similar locations.

Yeah, Cook Islands/Fiji were fucking terrible other than maybe 3 fun moments from each season (let us not forget the greatness of the 4 horsemen being pwn3d).
The first half of Gabon has been kind of lame, but it certainly picked up two weeks ago with the Dan/Ace boots and continued with the Marcus boot. High hopes for a fantastic ending! -SJ™ |
