My favorite episode of that season is the double boot where Mia was tossed out.

I think this season is like a somewhat better version of Thailand. The Marcus episode is the type of thing they probably wanted to happen in Thailand's fake merge, instead of what we got (two episodes of predictable boots and tons of filler).

Post merge of Vanuatu was very good. Remember how Chris strategized and backstabbed Julie and Eliza, that was good TV. The only time postmerge, where Vanuatu wasn't neccesarily that good is during the F2 tribal council, not neccesarily you should care who wins at that point. I don't think Chris tried hard enough. He played the game then, but at that point, I don't think he was very interesting.

Also, the biggest problem with China is that there were several characters that you didn't give a shit about (and it was obvious), whereas, you cannot say the same with Gabon (at least so far). Aaron, Frosty, Erik were complete duds (and that is just off the top of my head).

Vanuatu was a good, at least decent season. The same can be said about Gabon. However, the past 4 seasons have been pretty much horrible, Cook Islands, Fiji, China, and Micronesia, and 5 out of the past 6 seasons have been horrible (Guatamala). Gabon has been the best season (so far) since season 12 (Panama/Exile Island).

Two of the most underrated seasons on here are All-Stars 1 and Palau because of all the drama and entertainment value. People underrate them for stupid reasons when they were much more lively seasons to watch than those dudfests I just mentioned above.

Im sorry but I have to disagree, Cook Islands was not horrible. I thought that was one of the best modern seasons. All the drama with the Johnathan and Candace mutiny making huge underdogs Aitu overcome and make final 4 which was one of the best storylines in Survivor history. Great castmembers such as Cau Boi, Parvati, Ozzy, Yul & Jonathan. And having probably the best winner in the show's history Yul Kwong, if he isnt the best he was the most deserving. Fiji I agree sucked as did , China. Micronesia was the best since CI. Guatemala was pretty bad too.

Cook Islands was horrible after Jonathan got voted out (at F7), which makes it a horrible season. It kind of reminds me of how when Gary was voted out (also at F7), the season turned horrible. Huge underdogs Aitu 4 had a major issue that you didn't give a fuck about them. Worst underdogs ever. Even Terry was more interesting than them. Parvati was good the first 2 or 3 episodes (with being an over the top character, but then she got boring). She was just okay at the end with her arguments with Jonathan. Ozzy was boring asides from challenge performances (and in episode 2). Yul was very boring unless you watched him like he was some genius. Yul wasn't a great winner cause he was boring. His strategy was also questionable on top of that.

China was horrible because the players were boring. Overall the season didn't have the same punch as a Palau, Exile Island, or Gabon. Micronesia was excellent for the first 3 or 4 episodes, but was terrible after that because it was again, boring.
