I thought it looked sucky: bungee jump + TAR9 style helicopters + paragliding are all boring tasks that we've seen before that keep the order exactly the same. I want to see frantic teams running around like crazy, not people standing still and saying "wow".

This pic looks like he is awfully friendly with his buddy.(a'la Eric and Jeremy standing in their underwear) Nope, he's playing straight with Amanda.. this couple gives me Eric and Danielle vibes here.(groan) also edited to add: This picture in Phuket, does it not look like Margaret (of Margaret and Luke)? Her hair matches closer than the redheads. Was there any sighting for the mother/son in Thailand? I'm holding out hope that these 2 make it far in the race.

If it's driving a cart through a bus street, I can see why a mother might not want her deaf son to do it. But it seems pretty unlikely - all the sightings seem pretty consistent in having no teams that resemble either of the parent-child duos, who both seem like the obvious weakest links (old person + unathletic younger person usually guarantees they'll fall to the bottom of the pack early on).

But after watching it again, with all those flashbacks and everything, it seems that TAR is already saying goodbye... I really hope not... I changed my mind and I'm now hoping for the twinbeasts to lose epically so that CBS has another reason to not cancel the show. There must be a winning FF team and I hope it won't be them! LOLz. They do a great job at making Amazing Race look exciting. It really pulls you in, and I am totally stoked about seeing the new season. And, ya, there are the mactor types on this show, but there is always some truly great ordinary people who end up being extra-ordinary somehow. This picture in Phuket, does it not look like Margaret (of Margaret and Luke)? Her hair matches closer than the redheads. Was there any sighting for the mother/son in Thailand? Maybe they have to pull some random woman/tourist through the streets in those rickshaw type carriages. Or perhaps they both have to pull each other and can trade off during the course of the task. . I know the spoilers are not placing Margaret/Luke in Phuket, but when comparing those 2 pictures you see her hair pulled back and the thin stature of the woman, as well as her facial profile looks most like Margarets. And the possibility is that this task could be their downfall, with Margaret the older woman in the group being disadvantaged by this task. And, ya, there are the mactor types on this show, but there is always some truly great ordinary people who end up being extra-ordinary somehow. That was for TAR12. And yeah, it was awesome. That plus the diversity of the teams made the season look like it had loads of potential. And it delivered! TAR13 had a meh pre-season promo and turned out "just okay". So since TAR14's seems kinda cool, I have hopes again.
