Still despite the game itself being the epitome of crapdom, as a fanfic it has potential due to a lot of big names racing in it (Kitty, Will, DDU, Funkey, Kat, me, AT etc.) and the fact that the teams are some of the most fucked up ever. So I made Gil even weirder and more creepy in his bug infatuation. That still wasn't good enough. So I did what all the best M/F AR teams do and I made Catherine batshit insane. She was violent and psychotic and bitchy, and she would always talk about HER DAUGHTER (in caps), and the pair ran their way straight through the race, eventually helping to end the winning streak of Level 5's teams at the final 6. I had bad luck on one leg where one team was inactive, and I was seriously freaked out as I dropped to second-to-last place, but the very next leg, I made up time and came in first place overall. Sadly, right after that, my internet died, and thus I missed the final 5 leg and came in dead last, and so Gil & Catherine's time in the race was over. Still, we were epic while we were still in it. Me and Kitty's colourful TAR rivalry <3. Although I don't think you can really take credit for my elimination (why do great teams get knocked out in sixth? Charla/Mirna.. me... I'm sure are other examples), it was pretty much all Nimber and me being tired and a little retarded. Except that you should have been more considerate and been inactive a leg earlier so I could have stayed in - if I'd won I wouldn't have had to screw up my sleep patterns again to enter the second season. I was a little surprised by the lowish ranking for AT: TAR4 - I know it didn't have hugely memorable teams like some seasons but I thought there were some pretty funny skits and generally better tasks than AT: TAR3. Either that or I had finally adjusted to racing so late at night and I didn't suck at every task as much, therefore more fun for me.

There's absolutely no challenge to it. You just need to sit at your computer and post repeatedly. The funniest thing about this race is that I saw that several hours in, only 4 teams had finished the leg, so I randomly started to compete. Smiley let me in despite not having signed up, and I've been in the top 5 every time, in spite in missing the start of every single leg thus far. As a note, my Chmofsky family is Link, Zelda, Malon, Ruto, and Saria. It's a joke from a gaming message board I used to go to, where they gave Link the last name of Chmofsky, and the four girls are his harem. Pretty much the only interesting thing about the team is the fact that the four 29 year olds keep making the 10 year old girl do all the roadblocks. Sounds like an FGC game...
