Did TAR producers bail out Ken and Tina? |
Lead | |
|
With 6 teams left, 4 more pts stops (and then the finish line), it seems that Ken and Tina should have been eliminated. Were the producers sympathetic to the
fact that K & T's cab drivers kept getting lost? Tina kept saying "auto mall" which might have confused the drivers. I think they were
given an early lifeline. That upcoming speed bump task better be time consuming !!

If anything they'd be pleased that a strong team was surprisingly eliminated.
If they wanted to save a team, there've been others who've been screwed more heavily by things out of their control (Susan/Patrick, Ari/Staella) and with a much greater fanbase than a bickering couple. |

Tina is settling down a bit.
Ken must have smacked her, or given her a good schlepping at a pit stop. |

I don't think so.
Producers are not superman to have a SPEED BUMP ready in just a matter of 12 hours. |

Every time, they've saved at least one good/entertaining team (JVJ, Flo/Zach, Kwins, Ida/Tania), and at least one of them has been entertaining (both Swiss legs, India, Macau). |

I still <3 the consecutive NELs at F5. Every time, they've saved at least one good/entertaining teamCharla/Mirna and Mai/Oliver being saved would have been x100 better though. |

NEL 100% expected at this point. If producers were going to bail out anyone, prob. would have been Mark & Bill - very popular team who didn't deserve
to go so early

Why do people always act like the producers are rigging things? They plan this all out ahead of time

The only time they might have rigged things was Borneo but Big Brother is the worst of them all

By rigged, I mean Survivor (and other reality shows) has chosen to use certain challenges or switches or merges at a time when it can benefit a particular
group, such as weak players, older players, idiot players, etc. It's almost impossible to do that with TAR because they spend only a day or two in a city
-- it's almost impossible for a team over 60 years old to win because there's constant physical requirements and sporadic supply of Metamucil.

Rigged or not - boo to the NEL. The people who come in last should go home. Always.

Absolutely not rigged. There have been very few times I've thought something on TAR was rigged, the best example being the "storm" in Dar es
Salaam that reduced Charla and Mirna's 17 hour lead, or whatever it was, to tied in first with Oswald and Danny. I was expecting the NEL at the beginning
of the episode. They can't just magically create a speedbump if one particular team finishes last. I would think that if they do rig the NELs at the last
second, then they might have gotten rid of Flo and Zach after the double NEL, or some other unpopular team or saved a likable team like the Bowling Moms at the
F4.
