Staying home.
Alice Cooper's Halloween parties aren't as much fun as they were when he was a drunk. Plus Stevie Nicks never shows up anymore since she sobered up. Also, the annual slaughtering and mutilation of the lamb was cancelled because too many people have joined the ranks of PETA. So I guess I'll just stay home. |

They trick-or-treated in my 'hood yesterday too. I was at King's Island with my nephew. He's 6 years old and thought the Beast was boring.

We are having a block party with some of the neighbors and friends. The people next door decorate and so do we. They are younger and have tons of friends, so I
expect there will be a lot of people partying on our street. I'll be hosting, feeding people, mixing drinks and handing out candy to trick or treaters.
I'll post pictures when I get a chance. |

Shovel Girl.
She used to enjoy our Halloween decorations. She would come out on their deck and hoot at them like a howler monkey. I kinda miss Shovel Girl. To dress up like Shovel Girl; I would need to wear torn jeans, a white tee shirt, not wash my hair for weeks and rat it up really nasty like.. and of course I would have to zombie-fy myself so as to appear many months dead. Too bad I already have a costume, but great suggestion KHP! |

If you go to a grocery store with a bakery and pick up one of those pre-made pre-frosted cakes, will they write on it for you? About how long does that take?
If it's a while, I can go to the farm market to pick up pumpkins in the meantime.

There's a party I want to go to but I don't know what to dress up as since there aren't many costume choices for a tall black chick.
I'll
probably do something wildly unimaginative like wear a red dress & horns.

I've got a couple things Halloween-related on campus this week.
Earlier tonight was Goodies 4 Goblins, where all the little Wilmington kids dress up and trick-or-treat through the residence halls before coming to the cafeteria for a party. Thursday, the Gay-Straight Alliance is putting on Rocky Horror Picture Show. Friday, the Resident Assistants are throwing a party for the school, and on Saturday, I'm either going to a friend's party, or a frat party. Haven't decided which yet. |

We're going to some Halloween parties this weekend, so excited because I'm seeing a lot of friends I haven't seen in a long long time.
I'm going as a ninja, btw. A Ninja, Sarah Palin, Ursula the sea witch, a deviled egg, and a cavewoman, what a crew.
