I voted for Kelly for the past two weeks and keep ending up wrong. Eventually I'll be right! Kelly is probably the worst choice strategically for both factions of the tribe to take out now. Ken/Crystal would be better served by voting out either Sugar or Ace and flushing the idol in the process. Sugar/Ace would be better served by taking out Ken or Crystal on the idol bounce. But with Fang being who they are, both sides will probably mess up their intended boot, and it will end up being Kelly who goes.

Them targetting Kelly would be a good move for them individually.

Well, considering Jeff's "stupid idol play" teaser comment, I tend to lean toward the latter. I also think his "Matty is too honest to win this game" comes into play here as well. My theory: Matty forms an alliance with Ace/Sugar, only to end up ratting them out to his fellow original Fangs. Conclusion: the Ace/Sugar story arc ends here.

While I would love for Kelly to be sent packing, I don't think that will happen tonight. I fear that Sugar will become an emotional basket case and hand the HII over to Ace, thus sealing her fate at TC (Stupid woman!). Furthermore, I doubt that Ace will even bother to save her with the very HII she handed him.

If he wants to vote out Ace or Sugar, they can split the votes 2-2-2 and vote out whoever doesn't play the HII. (Ken could be the one to engineer the votes, explaining last week's weird "Ken steps up" preview that amounted to nothing, even including the insider.) If he wants to flip and vote Kelly, Ken, or Crystal out, he can easily do so in either a 3-3 or 3-2-1 vote. The reason I ultimately went with Kelly for this week was because Jeff keeps saying the audience will like Matty. I'm not sure how Matty voting out Sugar over Kelly would reconcile with what Jeff's saying about him.

I voted for Kelly because of Matty's pact with Ace. At face value, Matty agrees not to backstab Ace up till the merger and it is not in Matty's best interest to go against this agreement. If Ace/Matty/Sugar are able to get past the next vote, they will have taken control of Fang. Matty already knows that Sugar has the HII so he can serve as a double agent since Ken/Crystal/Kelly won't know about his pact with Ace. Matty can tell Ace who Ken/Crystal/Kelly intend to vote out and Ace/Sugar can play the HII accordingly. Matty was never close to Ken/Crystal/Kelly anyway. This is probably just wishful thinking on my part but if Matty/Ace/Sugar are able to get to the merger then the post-merge dynamics will be more interesting than if Ken/Crystal make it. It's not in anyone's best interest on Kota to align with Ken/Crystal and they will both be picked off right after the merger.

That sucks too, because it would potentially be a jaw dropping ending if they would just keep their goddamn mouths shut in the promos...
