I found this image which must mean that they export, because I've only seen bottles with cyrillic writing.

It's looks horribly generic Pataday. Like Smirnoff

A search reveals they sell honey pepper flavored vodka in Brooklyn, so I'm good.

I've known many a college student who got sick drinking that vodka.

CBR is right.
Piroshkis. Mmmm... Mrs. Panteleef used to make those for her hubby to have for his lunch and she'd give them out to all of us neighbor kids too. Yummy.

oh god, when I was bartending (very briefly) at the Macy's restaurant, we had to use this dreadful Vox vodka in everything because their company paid us
to. I shudder at the memory of it still.
Chopin's not bad, but it is similar to GG. I just don't dig vodka that has no balls to it, it's like drinking water. |

Okay, smoked cheese, pate, caviar, honeyed cashews, piroshkis, six vodkas.
I need another meet dish and something sweet. |

Red Bull + Grey Goose = guaranteed crazy drunk people. Well, Red Bull and any alcohol causes craziness because of all the damn caffeine, but I've seen more
people go buck wild over Red Bull n vodkas than any other drink.
That honey pepper Nemiroff stuff looks good, goosehead. |

Gotcha Shag. I'll try to have at least three different types of vodka , including the non-pussy variety.

VOMIT @ Karkov, and I can't believe you people like Stoli.
I guess it's just me since I don't drink Vodka if it's not mixed with anything, after my terrible experience with Popov, I vowed to never drink Vodka ever again. |

I just bought Van Gogh Wild Apple to make Apple Martini's. It's like apple pie in a glass...yum.
1 part Van Gogh Wild Appel Vodka 1 part Berentzens Apfel Korn Schnapps 1 part Apple Cider-not clear but natural kind 1 Shake in a tumbler with ice for 10 seconds. 2. Rub rim of martini glass with some vodka to moisten. Mix together a few tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon on a small plate. Dip the rim in the cinnamon sugar mixture, pour the drink into the glass and float a star anise on top. I just had these with some baked brie (wrapped in pastry w/ brown sugar & pecans...400 degrees...25 min) served with apple slices and crackers. If you like your vodka straight up, I'd go with Stoli. :) |

If your going for a Russian type tasting to be more authentic they eat pretty hearty foods with vodka. Smoked fish, platters of cheeses with breads and fruit,
piroshki, cabbage, tomato onion salad, minced pork stuff like that. This is a fun little custom to do at the beginning of the meal or party whatever.
You start with making a forkful of food and then someone makes a toast and everyone clinks their glasses. Next, take a quick, short intake of breath, blow it out, bring your forkful of food to your nose and get a good whiff -- and then you are to drink the vodka immediately and quickly. When your glass hits the table, again blow air out through your mouth smell your food again, then eat it. It's fun and for some reason that first forkful of food tastes the best. |
