When I was growing up Sunday night supper was sometimes popcorn and milkshakes. I carry on the tradition, but with fruit smoothies instead of milkshakes. I
wish I still had my grandma's stove top popper. It had a long handle, and a sliding mesh top and you'd shake the shit out of it to keep it from
burning. The precursor to Jiffy Pop, I guess.

it was a meal back when I was in college - we lived on the 3-Ps - pancakes, popcorn and Swanson pot pies
they didn't have ramen noodles or microwaves back then and we were dirt poor |
