If you were to ask me what the #1 problem with Survivor is these days, I would say it is him. Go back and watch how hands-off he was in the earlier seasons. It is mind boggling. These days I practically expect him to go up there and actually cast a vote at Tribal Council.

That's a good question. I wish I could answer it, but I don't watch the seasons as fanatically as I used to. I used to watch every episode (in the early days) a minimum of four times. Nowadays I hardly remember who some of the players are. So it's hard for me to say. My gut says he really started to get involved somewhere around All-Stars. That's when they started calling him "co-producer" or some garbage like that. But I don't think he really started to interject himself into the action until fairly recently. My guess it would be around Cook Islands or China.

One of the worst ever, and I don't talk in extremes just for the hell of it. Quitter episodes are always terrible, and among quitter episodes this one was the worst. We're supposed to be watching a competition, but instead we watch someone strive to get eliminated instead of strive for victory. It undermines the whole premise of the show.

He was just a flat out asshole there. So maybe you are right. I do remember him being particularly verbal during Palau as well.

I was so upset with these challenges!!!!! WHERE WERE THE FUCKING PUZZLES?! The RC would have been better if they had to spell out a phrase in Swahili with the fruit at the end.

And if anyone had any doubt before it started that Fang is gonna lose both challenges again, we got a nice reminder from Probst in the beginning that they suck so much, which is basically an admission by the producers: "We have nothing remotely interesting to show you, BUT HEY FANG SUCKS SO MUCH!!! DONT YOU THINK SO???? DONT YOU??? We start thinking: "Hmm, they really suck a bit". During the episode they will OBVIOUSLY lose again (twice), and we think: "HEY, THEY REALLY DO SUCK!!! WOW, they lost again!!! SUCH A SUCKY TRIBE"... We are entertained by the suckage, well played CBS. lol If there`s nothing really interesting going on, the producers have to start hyping SOMETHING until everyone forgets about how crappy the whole season is and is just talking about how much Fang sucks. If Probst just says it often enough and they edit it nicely, people will concentrate on that issue more than they should. POWER OF SUGGESTION IS THE KEY, and in the end we`ll watch the next season again, cause they basically shift the blame from themselves to the cast. CBS SUCKS BY CHOOSING THIS SEASONS CAST, the cast itself cant help it that they were chosen over better competitors for whatever reason, just admit it, fire the C.S.A.s or whoever is responsible and move on.
