First things first, I'm sure the skunk wasn't really a setup cuz the hills around that house are filled with them. I just like that skunk and skank are only one letter apart.
Second, I read thru the posts on this thread but didn't see anyone else post this particular thing about ChiChi. Don't you think he's a more femme version of John Leguizamo? Seriously, the minute I saw him I was like "It's the Pest but if he was really, really feminine!!!" ChiChi is starting to really annoy me. At first I liked him but now I can't take his voice or his little fey ways. If he only came to the show because it was Sinister's dream to compete for Daisy (and I assume Sinister didn't want to be friendless in the house) and if they're actual best buds, ChiChi should gracefully bow out and let his friend fulfill his dream. Why risk your real-life friendship to win an STD... I mean, 'reality' love show.
Regarding Daisy's malapropisms - I want to compile them all into one list cuz I find that stuff hilarious! On the Skunk ep, she says "I can't condole that" when telling the guys at elimination about Cage's inability to promise he won't kill Flex. Yeah, I think she meant "condone". And if she really said "emphasize" instead of "empathize", that's awesome! I'll have to re-watch all the eps from the 1st one to see what else she said that I missed.
Daisy/Fox - It scares me that Daisy is WAAYYY smarter than Fox. I knew he was stupid but didn't realize how stupid until that date when he wore the laurels. Talk about being unworthy!!! I think the Greek Gods Oh and Fox does the malaprop thing too - he said "Cage got furiated" in one of his confessionals. Maybe he's too foxy to say "infuriated"? I love the theme music they have going for him, so 70's porno. ;)
Now has anyone else noticed that Daisy is really, really, really needy? LOL!!! But seriously, she's said some stuff that makes me want to shake the TV and tell her "Knock it off!!! You don't need a boyfriend, you need therapy!!!" For example, the surest way to get alone time with her is to ignore her. Whenever she's thought someone was ignoring her, she immediately went to talk to them to "make sure they still liked her" (her own words). She said that the guys who voluntarily left made her feel like "she wasn't good enough". There have been many instances where she was letting the guys run the show instead of her being the one in charge, all because she's so insecure and needy. This would never happen on a "man chooses from 20 women" show. For example, Bret Michaels never thinks a girl who is ignoring him doesn't like him anymore; he just thinks they're not making a connection and sends them home. Bret wouldn't think that a girl who left voluntarily did so because he wasn't good enough; he'd just think that she wasn't cut out to be his "rock of love" and move on. But Daisy takes it all seriously and personal (or so we're led to believe) but I don't quite buy it. Maybe she does, maybe she doesn't.
That brings me to another topic - Some of Daisy's crying jags came off to me like someone off camera told her "Daisy, we need more $%++%!" Like when she was talking to Cage before he left, she was sorta okay, saying "Cage you need to make me a promise, yada yada yada". But then all of a sudden, she's sobbing almost harder than he is and it was like, where did that come from? Also, sometimes I don't think there are enough $%++% for the sounds I'm hearing. Maybe she practices "dry crying" cuz of all the makeup she wears but I really doubt that.
The last thing I'm gonna mention in my book here is that I wonder if they're gonna bring London back. The Skunk ep ended with the camera focusing on London's pic on the floor and they were playing the dream sequence version of the nursery rhyme song. Why would they do that for no reason? I felt like it was a teaser for something to come. I've also wondered why they haven't brought back any of the guys who got eliminated to give them a second chance when someone has left voluntarily. Won't Daisy run out of guys too soon if they don't bring some back or grab some new ones? Or was it in the plan from the get-go? Maybe the whole show is just a setup for "12 Pack of Love"? :)
