A shame they didn't want to brainstorm any idol maneuvering because Jacquie may have been able to help buy them an extra pass from another tribal council or two.

Fang Could Have Had It Both Ways |

Fang could've kept Jacquie's strength around and still minimized the threat of Sugar's hidden immunity idol. First, they could've confirmed
that Jacquie's in an alliance with them and that she should stick with them. They prove this by voting out Kelly. With Jacquie around, their odds are
better of winning future immunity challenges. In the meantime, between now and their next immunity loss, continually hype up Jacquie to think that she's on
your side. When you do lose an immunity, inform both Ace and Jacquie that you're voting out Sugar tonight. Jacquie will believe this is certain because
she's "in an alliance with the old Fang." At this point, Ace will tell Sugar to use her idol while the four old Fang members simply vote out
their choice of either Jacquie or Ace. Sugar plays her idol to no avail and stays in the game while old Fang continues to have a 4-2 advantage over their new
tribe members.

This is why they need Jonathan Penner on Fang to help with strategy. Though Crystal was on the right track...

If Jacquie really wanted to stay in the game, she would (and could) have convinced them to go with Ace. She didn't, and she lost.
Too bad, so sad. |

no, you never know when the producers are gonna change things up, it could be like in 2 or 3 episodes when they decide to switch tribes or merge or whatever,
kelly will still be with Fang, while jaquie wouldn't, and jaquie would have never been with fang, she was always with sugar and ace, it was a smart move to
get rid of her

I agree!
I don't understand their paranoia over the idol. If they lost kelly over jacquie they would still have the numbers and could have easily manuevered around Sugar if they even lost |

Or how about this: They vote out Jacquie (which they did) and next week when they lose immunity they inform Ace and Kelly that it's Sugar who is leaving.
Ace tells Sugar and she plays the idol...only to find out that everyone voted Kelly and she was safe all along. Kelly goes and idol goes. It's now 4-2.
They lose the next 2 immunity challenges and Ace and Sugar go home. It's now 7 original Fang vs 4 original smart tribe.

^ That strategy can't play out because Ken/GC/Crystal know they're on the outs with Dan/Matty/Randy/Susie. There's no point for those three to put
themselves at the bottom of a seven rung alliance. It's best that they make the merge and try to swing over the Ace/Sugar alliance (and Kelly if she makes
it) into a five-some (or six-some). The rest of Kota certainly won't work with them and the rest of Old Fang is hardly trustworthy given the rift
that's developed.

Horrible idea. Jacquie had a separate alliance with Sugar/Ace before the swap that wasn't shown. She said she would've wiped out old Fang if she had
stuck around

lol @ Jacquie being labelled a seperate alliance with Sugar/Ace. She probably got in with Ace as she 'slept next to him at night'.
Also, being the highest ranked woman on her tribe, it's obvious she was a social/physical/mental threat so they did do a right move by voting her out. She would've coasted to endgame like other utr players. Yea I see how it was a bad move voting her out. Also, Crystal/Susie had some bond going on. |

kishuu wrote:No she really had a separate alliance with Sugar/Ace just in case the onions thing didn't work. They showed it on the insider and she mentioned it in post-game interviews. So she was definitely with Sugar/Ace a lot and she even named Sugar as 1 of the 3 people she wants to win it |

I meant people saying her not being in an alliance with Sugar/Ace. Sorry I kinda worded it wrongly.

Ok, so Kelly gets along with Ken and Crystal, was outcasted by Kota, and will give them an extra number while Jacquie had connections to the other tribe, is
close to Ace, and is getting close to Matty. Why the hell would you not want to get rid of Jacquie in that situation? Because Kelly is a worse rower? Are you
kidding me? They're almost identical in challenges, but Ken and Crystal are stupid for not listening to GC (who obviously knows what a good challenge
performer is) and Matty who could easily flip once Sugar joins them next round. This tribal council was a no brainer for Fang, and I have no idea how this was
an unpredictible vote, or why everyone is hating on them just because Probst does.

If they voted off Kelly, there's no way for Ace/Sugar/Jacquie to know who they were going to vote for the next time (and who to give the idol to).
If Fang was really tight, they have a pretty good chance of not having the vote flipped back to them. |
