I think they do merge soonish. And you can be sure that Susie is the first out. Jeff is once again spoiling next week's episode and telling us to root for Corrine. Maybe she's the new winner? I'm starting to actually like her - a lot. And Charlie took over as narrator. We saw A LOT of Charlie. But if they stay as single tribes it does look like Fang/Fong will get their wish and lose! And sounds like Probst is setting us up for a HUGE Sugar/Corrine confrontation next episode. He's also wanting us to still root for the Onions (now including reasonable, lovable, wise Randy) with his knocking the living daylights out of Crystal. See above ^ And another thing about Crystal, she was DELIBERATELY slow up the hill in the first ep. because she was pushing Susie and wanted her to get up there before she did. She was thinking Susie would be her biggest alliance mate, and she was proved right in that respect. But when they do merge, Corrine is going to make sure and she's got Randy and Charlie, and will be minus either Matty or Sugar. That Susie goes.... Matty and Randy both hated the other old Fongs so I see Matty lining up with C & C. If Corrine finds out that Sugar has the HII!!!! Watch out. And/or if they don't merge... But I think they do...And Corrine gets to stab Susie in the face...And they all find out that Sugar has the HII...which at this point she just may give to Matty...She's so discombobulated and all that CRYING!!!!

If we see them playing the RC as two separate tribes, then it is likely they will play IC as two separate tribes. They want to continue the tension to continue, and if they merge this coming epsiode than the Corinne vs Susie might come to an early end, and I seriously doubt the producers would let them happen. Methinks they'll play out the nunufang as much as they can, and then the following episode will be the merge.

With spoilers we spent our time debating whether they were correct and how they would play out. Now we try and glean what we can from his comments. Well he seems to have given us our 'good versus evil' characters with Sugar and Corinne. It may be that these two fight it out to the end. Although, it seems to me that Corinne could be in trouble soon, especially if she is too loud about Marcus' ousting. I hope she rants on about Susie and everyone listens closely. It will polarize the alliances, and if merged, I definitely see Susie staying with Crystal and Ken. And with Matty having made up with Crystal in the last episode (some important foreshadowing) I think the power shifts to original Fang 4 + Sugar. The one problem will be will Sugar trust Crystal and Kenny, after Kenny played her against Ace. But it is either trust them, or side with Corinne and her crew. The Fang 4 + Sugar could hold the final 5 and a good versus evil situation Sugar and Matty on the good, Kenny and Crystal being the evils.

I only remember Jeff bashing Crystal for not making 5 seconds of the challenge, and that his nieces Amanda and Abby(?) could do better than her.

I hope Corinne's colors shine next week and we get to see the real rage she has in there...she's great and entertaining...but why the Sugar VS Corinne rumor? What would they have to fight about? My Sugar and Randy just better get through another week...!!

I can totally see a little thought balloon coming out of Probst's head with this statement. Barely off, mind you, but off enough that we knew it was gonna bite them in the ass. Would he just pretty much tell us the merge is next week? I know some seasons they tip it in the promos, with no effort to fool anyone, but it seems like the editing and promotions have tried to leave some surprises this season. Could "barely" just refer to the merge feast, the two immunities where everyone competed against everyone, etc?

What I was trying to say is that I was referring BACK to Jeff's earlier posts about Corrine and how he was afraid of her(ironic?) or also just hyping her in general. He has misdirected very little if at all in this blog, I think. It's all so general. But it is interesting. He said he didn't like Marcus. And here he's bashing Crystal. He's laid into others, and then they go... I personally think Crystal was deliberately not showing her athletic prowess - YET - because she's still keeping her Olympic skills on the down low. The swing vote situation is either one of two things. NuNuFang goes to TC and it's a nailbiter...With the Corrine V. Sugar thing that Jeff has told us about above ^, but that we haven't seen. They would like try to target her to get rid of the HII, but then they wouldn't know who she was going to vote for, if she uses it. Which I think she never does. So the NuKota 3 blindside her, fooling Matty. OR they can get rid of Matty here easily. OR if they merge...They have the numbers? To take out say, Crystal, who Jeff is dissing here. Which is a clue that Crystal goes soon? Jeff was saying pre-show that Corrine is an Uber-bitch and owns it. But we never really saw that until Dan's vote when she called him "a former fatty" which IRL I think he says he was and also her Susie comments. All Corrine's negatives have been given in conf. or to Randy...Randy was underlined that he never liked the NuNuKota(formerly Old Fang members, which would be Crystal, Kenny and Susie) and I think he would try to get rid of them since Uncle Cameraman Randy is the one who could be the "Swing" vote... I think we're meant to be happy to see C,K,S go. I think...

Seeing as they had a merge feast already, I see this being the merge celebration, similar to the culture show in China.

I think they will merge because on the "next time" preview, it began with Gaonese people dancing. It's definitely a team RC, but it could be an idividual IC, which could be why we haven't gotten any images of it yet.

It goes by so fast, but he's reveling in thinking he can win. Maybe the IC is an intelligence test/puzzle. Not something dynamic.Or requiring strength. If they continue NOT showing it, then we'll know they are hiding the merge, and the BLUE buffs. And that the IC is indivdual. Like in Vanuatu and ASS, this could be when they merge. They do an RC, think they aren't merging. The winning tribe goes to see the Village festivities, where, once again, the winning tribe gets to EAT. This could be starving NuNuFang who have no food left. And the II winner gets to send someone to Exile...who is then immune...AGAIN...If they have gone to TC and it's still tribes...just WHAT dirty laundry can be aired? It's gotta be the merge of the two tribes. The tribes as they are now, already know each other's "dirty laundry." If Sugar's at EI(just for the sake of argument), and they do merge, Corrine, Charlie, Randy and Bob will be vs. Kenny, Crystal and Susie. Which gives Matty the swing choice. Which side does he pick? I'm guessing C/C/R/B. But maybe he forces a tie, if Sugar is at Exile. Or SUGAR doesn't get exiled and there are nine of them. And yes, one person could be a swing vote in a nine person situation. Face it this is the first time in 4 or 5 seasons that spoilers haven't outed at least the final three, never mind the winner. Does anyone think that maybe JP is playing with us? He knows about us and this site and the spoilers. This is his real dream come true... we are left to speculate what is going on and he must be laughing his rear end off because the only thing we can dissect are his words. Week after week the predicted boot is someone different that who actually goes. This is ratings heaven. LOL
