Why Corinne and not Charlie? I'm far more interesting in Charlie's reaction.

The good news for Kota is that they still have the numbers on both tribes. Things are still looking good for them. Fang is in trouble. Matty and Sugar are all alone on one tribe. Crystal and Kenny are all alone on the other.Nice try with the Koolaid, Probst, but any sane person ain't drinking what you're offerin'. Hmmmmmm. Probst is in love with Matty. Probst despises Marcus. Matty is next to go on Fang. Marcus is cruising to the end in Kota. Then the tribes are switched up AND evened up. Matty is saved and Marcus is screwed. Score one for producer manipulation. |

Marcus was screwed because he was condescending to Susie. Good riddance!

I just read the latest blog and I'm in utter disbelief. he gives all kudos to Bob for being - what - a UTR player. I'm thinking, this guy is doing nothing other than sitting comfortably in a majoirty alliance, thinking he's going to be there until the F6, and then to F5 once they get rid of Susie. Umm, Jeff, we don't know who Bob is really. We don't see him strategizing with anyone - and saying nothing doesn't count as strategizing now that he's the only one on the outs in nunuKota. Other than being a brainaic in the first and second episode, and he kind of failed at that when up against Kenny. He sure as hell isn't strong, and he lacks the social awareness or else he would have known something was up with Susie after her conversation with both Marcus and Crystal. As for saying his nieces would have been better at the challenge than Crystal. Okay Jeff, let's see you put those big things on the back of their hands you fucking moron. |

JP clearly said Kenny was the player he liked the best- and that he liked Kenny more than any other player in recent history. And his blogs further indicate
that he thinks Kenny is very smart when it comes to the game. Regarding Matty, Jeff called him "endearing" but too honest to get too far in the
game. I'm guessing he calls Matty endearing because the dog-family visit spoiler is Matty. Randy's dog is dead and Matty is the only guy left who has
a dog. And he did list in order of what he dreams about: food, dog, THEN girlfriend. Or I could be totally wrong and Jeff might find him endearing because he
says "dude" and "gnarley" alot. C'mon, admit it- who doesn't find that endearing.

If he started now, they could have the finals just before family Thanksgiving dinner. |

Jeff Probst's Blog -- Episode 8
Deep breath. Take it in, let it out. Once more. Deeeep breath. Take it in and let it out. On the rare occasions when we manage to pull one over on the Survivors, this is the ritual I go through immediately following. I just take a moment and let it fill my soul. |

Kirblar wrote:They played up Charlie's earlier affection for Marcus. If he'd had a big teary meltdown I think they would have played that up as well. They also don't see Charlie as being an important player. Jeff has his favorites (Matty, Randy, Corinne) and that's what matters. It's interesting that he didn't bother to highlight much gameplay from Ken or Crystal last night. Instead he trashes Crystal up and down. So much for that redemption arc. Do you think he praised Bob because he knows Bob's going next? |

I love that Corinne and Sugar are on the same tribe. Sweet and sour always makes for a tasty treat. Corinne hates Sugar. Sugar thinks Corinne is evil. This is going to be fantastic. Dear Santa God, Please let evil prevail. I've been very good this year, and that's all I'm asking for. Please. All my love, Cindi |

Do you think he praised Bob because he knows Bob's going next?Exactly what I thought, but again getting rid of positive Bob over disloyal and negative Susie would be another hint again Ken/Crystal's chances of being the good guys (just as Kenny was "stupid" not to pick Bob in the first place) I really don't get why they're highlighting of Ken's many inept moments like the pen-lid dropping and messing up getting the clue. I was expecting a redemption arc of sorts by now - if it doesn't come with his "brains behind everything" episode, I'm guessing he'll be an F2 loser. If he improves, he's the winner (and the flukiest yet). |

After the attention that story got earlier this season, it still warrants some resolution. If they choose not to bother, then that will end up showing (not for the first time) how poorly edited the show has become. They've played up Ken's more negative or needy side on a number of occasions, often resisting the opportunity to make him more sympathetic. They did the same to Crystal, although this past episode was better for her. I do think they're setting Ken up for some type of fall. I'm also starting to think they may be setting him up to stab Crystal in the back. The teaser for the next episode sounds like Fang goes to TC. If that's true then I wonder what's going to happen at the merge, whether Bob/Charlie/Corinne (if they all survive to the merge) are all out of luck or if they will manage to get through. |

I truly think the Onion is fucked. I never believed that any of them had a winning edit - Marcus included.
How ironic would it be? Kota kicks so much ass, and yet the ones left standing in the endgame are all Fang. |

I think the only two who have had winning edits are Matty and Randy. Then maybe Sugar. I'll be mildly surprised if any but those three win.
I guess it could be Ken, I wouldn't be shocked if he wins, but they've had such opportunities in these past few episodes and he hasn't come off all that well. If it was actually supposed to be the plucky Fang against the unstoppable Kota, they never put any of that into the editing. Instead it was more like piranhas on Fang and nobodies on Kota, with only one or two people singled out in a more positive way. |
