You're traveling through another dimension... a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind.

it's a gay ass book about a girl who falls in love with a vampire (but there's also a werewolf in the picture!!) yw

the synthesis (or line, if it is it is knida blurry), of light and dark that begins with the ending of the day and the beginning of darkness. or, the change
from dark to light.

My almost 12 yr old is reading Twilight right now...although I have no idea what all the rage is about this book
I think there's a movie coming out around Thanksgiving Overheard when her and a friend were discussing it: OMG Edward sounds soooooooooooo cute!

My 19-year-old has read them all. I don't even want to know what they're about. I just don't care.

Is your 19 year old ... intelligent?

Why did a bunch of hausfraus break onto the set of the movie?

It's a good series. The books are addictive and steamy yet virginal. Think interview with the vampire as teenagers who don't have sex

My 19-year-old is VERY intelligent. What's your point, Khnum?

i have three 18 year old friends, two who are attending washu and one who is attending harvard, who have read them all. i think anyone who is a teenager with a
vagina is bred to enjoy these books somehow

I read all 3 books because my daughters loved them.
I really liked them - they are an easy, fun read, forbidden romance between Bella and Edward (vampire). Love triangle between Bella, Edward, and best friend - I think teenagers identify with the high school romances. My daughters have heard that they are compared to Harry Potter books, and they will both argue that Twilight shouldn't be compared with HP, and that Twilight is kind of a glorified Buffy. I did not like the 3rd book - won't spoil and say why. |

an excerpt:
Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars --points of light and reason....And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything. ALOL |

They just seem a low level of reading. =\ At least she's reading though, so that's good. :)
