So they both have to agree on what they buy, but he says she just says no to everything.
Does he have to divorce her to get the WII?

So last night I am at my buddies place. His wife say that they both have to agree to make a decision. He wants to buy a WII system so that their family can
get a bit of exercise while playing. She thinks video games are stupid.

Maybe they could go outside and get some exercise.
A lot cheaper. I'm sure she has a reason. Does he have a 50 inch lcd screen and a ps3 and 27 games? Probably. |

The guy who bought the joint is the decider.

If he says yes to DWTS, he has no one to blame but himself.

I have all the money. I buy whatever I want. We discuss whatever he wants to buy. Works out great.

We agree on all big purchases. Stuff like games systems is for birthdays or Christmas or his own money.

I usually let NC get his way, but if I don't agree I will let him know.

If I want to buy dumb sweatshirt that cost $80 when I'm just going to get my skates sharpened, I'm allowed to.
If I want to buy a flat screen tv or a new car or a house, it'll probably be discussed. |

We both pretty much buy whatever we want for shit like that. The only difference is I reserve the right to rant and rave about the cost of her stupid shit,
whereas she either doesn't care or can't be bothered to rant and rave about the cost of my stupid shit.

Agreeance with Beep. We have a joint account for big purchases and our individual accounts to buy what we want for ourselves. It keeps things simple.

We take turns on major purchases ( Less Fights) When it's her turn I research what she wants and get it bought quick so it's my turn again. |

Luckily Dr. Salt and I are financial soulmates and we make almost all purchases together.
We're both frugal. Except paying for vacations and Jimmy Buffett tickets, on which there are no $ restrictions. Works for us - house and 4 cars are paid for, along with plenty of $ for the kids' college years. Funny thing is when we were young and were way in debt due to college, we wanted to buy the latest everything - electronics, clothes, etc. Now, not so much. |

We've decided together that we don't want video game systems in the house. We'd compromise if he really wanted something like a Wii.

He wants to buy a WII system so that their family can get a bit of exercise while playing Alol! He better start looking NOW if he wants that shit for Christmas!! They are already SOLD OUT everywhere. I decided last Nov. to get the Wii, FINALLY scored one on Amazon mid-December at regular price. ($249.00) I was signed up at nowinstock.net and nowinstock.com for email alerts immediately when they came in stock. Luckily I was on Amazons page when the alert came up, I refeshed the page and got it! Dumb shit me, now I think in September that I outta look into getting Wii Fit for Christmas this year. (It's Sept., they'll have them??Right?) Riiiiight...Wii's and Wii Fit are ALL gone everywhere. I just now signed up at those sites AND at Amazon text alert for when it comes available. Local Gamestop AND WallyWorld gave me "Are you serious?" looks when I asked for it in person Anyhow whoever "decides" better do it NOW! |
