I have two couple friends that do this. The wife insists on a minimum amount of nights per week where they do couple stuff and whenever she's watching tv, he has to watch with her. He can only play WOW a certain amount of hours per week. Same goes with extra curricular activities. I could go on. One of my friends has to get his wife's opinion on everything before he can make a decision. The wives think that they are spending quality time with their husbands but fail to realize that forced time isn't quality time. How the husbands put up with this is beyond me. If my hubby ever started telling me how I should spend my free time and how much needs to be spent with him, I'd throw him out of the house. I have my mom to bring on the guilt trip, thanks.
