trouble with Medicaid workers? |

Anyone else having trouble with Medicaid or Food Stamp workers not returning their calls or keeping appointments lately?
This week I've had two different people vent to me about this crap. Is a government conspiracy to make poor people fend for themselves, or was this a coincidence? |

no such thing as food stamps, nor govt cheese. Food stamps are only given to one lady in Ohio. If any of you poor folk have any food stamps left you better
use them. Food stamps will no longer be able to be traded in by grocers after dec.

Lone Star Card - but I think people still use the term food stamps in referring to it - I know the newspeople on the local TV stations did

the federal government has renamed the food stamp program -SNAP. Supplemental nutrition assistance program. The old food coupons or stamps are still legal
tender until 12/31/08, after that they are worthless script. All states had to go to electric delivery by 2007. Apparently some lady in Ohio won a suit
because she thought the electric card which monitors usage was an invasion of her privacy and still gets "stamps" hand delivered to her every month.

It's called a Louisiana Purchase card here.
I wish they would monitor what these people buy and do something about it. Saturday night, I went to the grocery store with Scott and we were standing behind these people... It was so offensive the shit they were buying with FOOD STAMPS. Two case of ramen noodles, literally 7 cans of pringles (WHO THE FUCK CAME UP WITH CHEESE FRIES PRINGLES), 3 cases of coke, diet coke, sprite, about 5 cans of chili, about 10 cans of vienna sausage. Candy out the ass. Absolutely nothing of any nutritional value. 150 dollars worth of the shittiest food-like products you could possibly buy in a store. And yes, my taxes pay for shit like that. It's infuriating. I'm sure they're on medicaid and take all kinds of meds for their high blood pressure and diabetes, too. ughhhh roaaaaaaaaaaaaar |
