I'm gonna be all over that "Never Shower In A Rainstorm" one when it's returned to the public library.

Mostly those books that you wrote about in the Ig Nobel thread last night.

BTW I just finished "What is the What" By Dave Eggers. It was incredible.

I gotta reread Pride And Prejudice sometime. A lot of my list is stuff that I read a while ago (um thirty years) and it's time to revisit them to see if I
react to them differently.

I also never got around to reading those 10,000 post election threads.

Well, I intended to read the Lord of the Rings books, but they were way too boring

I gotta reread Pride And Prejudice sometime.Heh. I went through a Jane Austen phase last winter. Pride and Predjudice is still a great book. |

Catcher in the Rye. Actually, I want to read a bunch of books that most people had to read in HS. Because my dumbass school had us read stupid shit that no one
has ever heard of instead, so now I feel like I should read those books.

I got a copy of A Concise History of the World a few years ago with the best of intentions. Yet there it sits on the shelf, unread.
With each year that goes by, I figure it grows approximately 0.003% more outdated. |

Unfortunately we can't take the quick way out and watch the Hollywood movie versions.

I should read that Dostoevsky stuff.

There are a TON of classics I need to read.
I should search for some sort of "Books you need to read before you die" kind of list and go from there. It's the same thing with movies. I never ever have time to watch them, but I REALLY want to go year-by-year and start watching all of the Best Picture nominees. |

I bought "Lullaby" by Chuck Palaniuk (sp?) a while back, but I still haven't read it yet. I keep meaning too, but then I pick up another
Christopher Moore book and cannot put it down! I'm reading "A Dirty Job" right now.
"You Suck" and "The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove" <3 <3 |

Michael Ian Black's book - My Custom Van: And 50 Other Mind-Blowing Essays That Will Blow Your Mind All Over Your Face.
The title alone suggests hilarity. |

The Ruins because I just finished the movie and people on imdb said the book is way better and explains more. I just don't know if I have the patience
though since I know most of the plot now.
