I feel like I must be on crazy pills after reading this board. I hate Stefan and Fabio. Stefan is so full of himself that it is painful to watch him, I think that he is a good chef but HBR and the other chef's have shown that he shouldn't win somebody who is going to open a resturnat has to at least be tolerable and I get the impression from many of them that he isn't even that. I am praying for a Jamie, Leah, Hosea (or Carla) final 3. I can't wait to keep watching as Leah goes through full on melt down and Hosea continues to do passive agressive confessionals to show his gf back home that he doesn't really like Leah.
Stephan's attitude is faaaaaaaaaar from out-of-the-norm. I've seen a lot more chefs that are exactly like him, than those who are not. Wishy-washy (Ho-sea/LeaHo) chef/owners are the quickest way to restaurant failure. Stephan is all about demanding excellence- that's never a bad thing
I think it's a given he's makes it to the end. He's really the only one that comes even remotely close to a true already-established "Top Chef," this season....even though I lurve lurve lurve my Beakerla. He'll have to fuck up bad, to lose this thing - but it could happen
As for this episode - the judges said Sahana's food was marginally better than Sunset's (I too, hate hate hate the name!!!! It reminds me of every on-site diner in hotels like the Comfort Inn and La Quinta). Marginally!
A restaurant is more than just its food. It's a total sensory experience. Everything plays a role in a patron's enjoyment. If excellent food is served on filthy plates....I don't think you're going to enjoy it. If excellent food is served under jarring fluorescent lights, in a McDonald's like atmosphere, while sitting on hard plastic seats with bad music blaring on high volume....I don't think you're going to enjoy it. And service plays aHUGE role in whether a restaurant is successful or not.
The difference in the service between the two restaurants was not marginal - there was a wide gaping chasm between the two
Sincethe reason Sahana lost was because of the service....HBR was the right person to go home
Besides, Colicchio was right - she appeared to have checked out. If you're no longer mentally and emotionally plugged into the competition....go home!

Down boy! Down! I'm not in it to get into a fight. Just expressing my view on it which I haven't watched yet. This site is called Other Shows That Suck not the Bad Girls Club.
Huh? Your profile shows you've been around a while, so your comment surprises me. The site is Survivor Sucks, not OSTS. OSTS is merely one forum in the board. Drew's comment was hardly slapfight-provoking, but even if it was...are you sure Sucks is the right place for you?
I don't remember Bourdain guest judging on this show - was he on in the first season? I'm reading his books right now, and I'm surprised he deigned to be on the show.
BRING BOURDAIN BACK!!!!! Not only was he a great judge, but his post-show blogs rocked!!!!!
I think part of the reason he likes being a part of the show is this......
