Worst Survivor Twist- Ghost Tribe or Stephanie/Bobbie return? |
Lead | |
|
Ghost tribe was pretty awful. At least that Boy Scout lady put the smack down on Fairplay. But Stephanie ruined what could have been the second coming of Gary
Hogaboam. And Steph was totally a creation of the Survivor producers. I hope to producers are gone, or have been shot, or something.

Actually both of those twists pretty much saved their seasons.

Have/Have Not completely trumps them all. I thought this was Survivor, not luxery island.

Of those two, the Ghost Tribe. I hate it when EPMB changes the rules of the game midway through.
The mandated tribal shuffle in Africa that doomed Silas was the forerunner of this kind of crap. |

Stephanie was one of the only reasons Gautemala was watchable, that and the physicality of the challenges.

Um, no. Cindy, Judd, Jamie, Gary, Brian, Golden Boy, etc... there were plenty of good reasons to watch that season.

Worst twist = The double Tribal Council.
There's no reason it even exists other than "the producers cast too many people." |

SenseiKreese wrote: Definately agree that its a horrible, horrible twist. It boggles the mind why they don't use the extra 2-4 people to boost the total episode count by 2-4 episodes. Doesn't CBS want 2-4 more episodes of a show that wins its timeslot every single week and finishes in the top 15 every week? The character development that is killed by the double TC episodes is a major, major killer and is one of the key reasons why the Survivors are not as well developed starting in season 9 as they were before that point where there was no such thing as the double TC. In any event though, even that can't top giving one tribe all the luxeries due to winning 1 challenge, resulting in the other tribe losing every single challenge except for one over a 10 or so episode stretch. |

I will have to pick the right out elimination of JONATHAN and WANDA.

double Tribal CouncilWell, the one involving Willard was understandable. The poor guy was dying and Ulong kept losing. EPMB had to get him out of the game somehow, so that one didn't bug me. |

Worst twists
1. Haves vs. Have-nots (Made the first half of Fiji unbearably predictable) 2. Outcasts (Completely unfair and messed with the integrity of the game, even though it did cause some entertaining moments) 3. Jonathan and Wanda's elimination (Again, totally unfair, and also robbed us of potentially good characters) 4. Stephenie and Bobby Jon's return (In retrospect, at least this meant we didn't have to see them on Fans vs. Favorites) 5. Exile Island (It was a cool "anti-reward" in Palau and was interesting in Panama, but the fun stopped after that). |

BJ's elimination in Palau is much more unfair then them returning. He deserved it after the producers fucked up with a late merge.
