I thought it was cute. If ever I'm home on a Friday night, I'd probably turn it on. I doubt I'll be making a point of seeing the show, though.

I was disappointed, not great, not terrible, I'll watch it again - sometimes the first episodes can be stiff.
But, y'all are right - the guy will end up being the ex with shared custody of the dog. P.S. Loved the "Revenge" song........ |

JRobbed wrote:Yeah, I don't get why this is on Friday. Does anyone watch TV on Fridays? If I didn't have a DVR I'd never watch this. I guess CBS just has nothing else relevant to pair it with the rest of the week. Don't think the most recent ex will be the soulmate cause he seemed horribly bland. Hopefully the guy is more interesting than that. |

hiatus by Christmas. Fuck!!

Men in Trees started on Friday nights and was pretty solid until the writer's strike and it was pulled and eventually put on Wed nites where it
tanked.......

P.S. Loved the "Revenge" song........Dat was funny. Ok so if the obvious soulmate isn't the recent ex, maybe it's her best friend, the guy with the cute blonde g/f ... or is he married? Ugh I don't like the little gap between his teeth. |

Hmmmm...
I watch a lot of SeeBS television, so I'd seen EVERY promo there was for this show. I decided way back in July that it was gonna suck. I was quite pleasantly surprised to find out it doesn't suck. It was actually...kinda good. I'll give it a few more weeks and see if it gets better or worse. |

I just watched this and thought it was hysterical. Her recent ex may be bland but his abs are smokin'.

The promos were much cheesier than the show, which was actually refreshing at times.
I agree that the lead is awkward - maybe the producers were going for Sarah JP #2, but they missed the mark. However, the writing had actual surprises, and the revenge boyfriend is a hottie from "24" that I was very glad to see with his shirt off. |

Thank god for CBS having full eps online and they stream nicely! Forgot to set the DVR before I left the house yesterday.

Well I say "come on, man" and "dude" (Lost fan...) and I'm not really girly, so Bella's character doesn't bother me. I can be
very soft, too.. *shrug*
Crap, I couldn't even find the show Friday night. I'll catch it online. |

I caught the show on-line. It's progressing nicely. Obviously, the most recent ex is still very much in love with Bella. And Bella is starting to get
over him, but there needs to be an episode where they either resolve their feelings or give it one more go before realizing they'll never, or at this
point, want the same things. But I'm getting a little concerned at Bella's slut factor. If she sleeps with every guy she's ever dated each
episode that might be too much for some of the audience. At some point she needs to have an actual relationship with one of these exes. Maybe it'll be
the cat guy, but in this post-Sex and the City TV landscape her promiscuity won't be judged so harsh.

Yeah, Bella's a slut, but she's a strangely asexual slut. I don't feel any real sexual energy between her and any of the guys she's slutted
with.
And, uh, who runs into old exes that often? How come she doesn't run into her old dentists or old female friends ever? That is one strange coincidental beach area she lives in. |

^ My thoughts exactly. Maybe this is what the psychic has been trying to tell her all along. And her true love is her female room mate.

I finally got to see Friday's episode and it was CUTE! (seems a lot of folks are using that description)
Again, I don't see Bella as manly at all. She's just not a real prissy bitch and that's ok. The psychic chick is funny. I'm wondering if she's making up this soulmate thing to give Bella that push she needs to actually look and possibly find who's right for her. But if she's making shit up, how was she so right about the bathroom thing? (her sister screwing on the toilet was hilarious) I don't think Bella is slutty. But if she has sex with someone different every episode.. ehh.. that would be a bit much. On the other hand, don't we all know a "Bella"? *shrug* I do. I like her. I like this show. I've started watching 4 or 5 new shows and I just know one of 'em is gonna bite the dust. I'd like to see more of this one. I don't have to think like when I watch Lost, Fringe, Heroes, Life on Mars (to a lesser degree), etc. Oh.. and I really don't think Bella's soulmate is female... |
