It looks like the "sandy ditch" from Exile.

Ok listen to this.
I think the highest ranked Kota go with the lowest ranked Fang. And the highest ranked Fang go with the lowest ranked Kota. There's the new tribes. Since Kota has 1 extra person, the lowest ranked Kota goes to Exile and misses Tribal and joins the losing tribe which makes the tribes even. 7-7. I think the person that is ranked last will be Ace. "Rude Awakening" Then of course he picks comfort since he knows that Sugar already has the idol. Kelly brings on the waterworks cause she knows she's a gonner and it doesn't work. Kelly gets voted off. |

That could be interesting if they took the top three and the bottom four. The four can control the vote, but would they want to vote out people with
"important" skills (athleticism, food providers, etc)? If the three stick together, they have to bring in someone else, but what could they promise
to make that person want to be the bottom of their alliance? Or else the whole thing just fractures.

I see now that they are each asked to do their rankings, and they are separated to think about and write down the order they think is most appropriate. Makes me wonder how it will all work out, will they go through each individuals rankings? Because that will have so much drama attached to each having to explain their position. I think I would take an non-combative approach and place people in order of age or when they were selected for the team in the beginning episode. birdlady wrote: That could be interesting if they took the top three and the bottom four. (HA, I said top or bottom) With the swap there will be an odd man out (on Kota maybe the person in the middle of the bottom 4/top 3 solution) and they maybe sent to Exile Island. I could see that person having immunity from the TC, and joining the tribe that loses to join the tribe after they have been to TC. That would leave 2 tribes of 7 each. Depending on who was sent to exile, it could play into strategy if you really needed that exiled member back to your alliance, you might risk throwing the challenge to gain that person back into your new tribe.

Yes to Ace going to exile, and since he knows Sugar has the idol, he picks Comfort instead of Clue.
"The tribes rank their members based on importance, and one Castaway is given a very rude awakening." I think those steps are for ranking the castaways in order of importance. Expect a tribal switch shortly after that!!! Jeff's new blog of Episode 3: http://popwatch.ew.com/po...8/10/jeff-probst-gab.html I bolded a sentence below ~ When it comes to what is good for the show, as producers, we obviously look at it much differently than the Survivors. One of our biggest concerns is hanging onto our best "characters" for as long as possible. That is ultimately what keeps you, our loyal audience, interested. |

Unfortunately, we can't tell the Survivors who to vote for, so all we can do is cross our fingers and hope for the best. Can Dirk confirm this ? Sugar finds the hidden immunity idol with very little difficulty.Hmmmmm .............................. First we lost Michelle, then Gillian, and now Paloma. Whew. Relief. Three people who will not be missed. So no questions for them at the reunion, right Probst ? Kelly is on the outs for voting against Ace. What will she do? Come on Kelly. Think. What would Lindsay do? And another non-fave of Probst's. He must be overjoyed that four straight non-faves are the first four boots. At this rate, about one half of the players will be completely ignored at the reunion. |

I don't know who goes next. I just thought that it was odd that Probst would key in on a player with NO story nor visibility at all so far. So I would
guess that the reason for this is Kelly's upcoming boot. If Kelly ends up on the same tribe as Sugar after the switchup, then she could even get
"idolled".

Probst has told us several times that Kelly's main characteristic (in his assessment) is her hotness. Then he goes on about bikinis in the blog (in some
sort of dialect). Which, dude, she's young enough to be your daughter. I don't think she'll be in the game much longer, but maybe that's why he
"keys" on her.

Why is Bob sitting behind Crystal and GC in that picture? Also, it doesn't look a whole lot like the challenge area, but that's completely debatable.
Even if it is the challenge area, why aren't the tribes sitting separated by tribes? Perhaps Bob ends up on Crystal and GC's team?

Thanks for giving it away, Jeff! 4 straight women in a row get the boot, I can't decide if this is a good resfresher since the females dominated last season or if it'll suck that all I'll get to watch now are the bros.. |

What about Charlie and waterworks? I know you all are talking of girls and especially Kelly, but if Charlie is split from Marcus, think of the !%!%%. WAAAAAH,
My hero was taken from me!

Isn't that be what you would be like if you were separated from Marcus, though? ;)

Probst: "Marcus is not happy. He's a doctor. Did you know that? He just lost to a tribe of misfits, many of whom do
not even have college degrees! No way! Kota now going to feel the after effect of having to vote someone out. It's not so fun anymore."
Probst has told us now at least two times how arrogant Marcus is. Other then other people seeming to like him, we haven't really seen Marcus be super arrogant. I wonder if his arrogance starts soon. I'm still thinking he might be a villian. The hero turns into villian storyline could be interesting. Probst: "Next week has a nice little twist conceived by our resident switch expert, Dan Munday. I love it when we come up with something new that catches them off guard." So the ranked them and then where ever you are ranked determines what tribe you will be in? Is that really shocking or going to catch any of them off guard. I for one would assume they were switching as soon as I say those ranking pedestals. I am hoping, although this is a big hope (as some above have hoped too I think) that they would be creating a third tribe. That would be awesome but I don't think it's going to happen. I wonder what catches them off guard then? |
