At least it hasn't been shortened yet. It'll really start to suck when they start chopping it up and making it sound like shit too

LEAST have everybody in the intro again for the final episode.

I've never heard any casual viewer say "Hey, why are those pre jury boots still in the intro? I better not watch." Fucking with the intro makes absoutly no sense at all, none, there is no reason to fuck with the intro, but they do it anyway. If anything it will confuse casual viewers even more into thinking, "Hey wait a minute, why are the retarded egomaniac editors fucking around WITH THE FUCKING INTRO?" you realize that if they're saying those things, at that point, you're no longer talking about a casual viewer |

Even casual viewers have to be invested in the show somehow, as much as I say they do, they won't just eat shit. People come back to the show season to
season hoping that one day Burnett gets his head on straight and produces a great season again(by great, I mean totally exciting and you are invested deeply in
what happens). By my account, that hasn't happened since PI, and I think Gabon could actually be it. That's why I'm so pissed off at this. They
can't please all of the fans all of the time, but it's like they are compleatly out of touch with what the viewers want. I've never heard a casual
viewer(who yes, has some expectations in order to be entertained) say that the intro has to be changed. I've NEVER heard it, not from anyone. Don you want
me to repeat it, NOONE wanted the intro to be changed, but they did it anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the intro stay full and complete, if anything just for sake of tradition. I mean, the fact alone that I am posting
on Sucks means I am a little more invested in the show than whatever definition of "casual viewer" that we're discussing here. Fans here--you and
I alike--do not want the intro changed.
I'm just trying to point out that, whatever the logic, editors are doing the alterations for some reason. |

My roommate is watching this season as well; he's not watched since catching a few episodes of Borneo. Believe it or not, he is in the vast majority of American viewers. Last night, he asked me how the jury process worked. Prime example of a casual viewer. He won't notice when they start knocking off contestants from the intro. When it hits jury, and they start putting the jurors in order in the intro like they did for China and Micronesia, that will be helpful for him--and the casual American viewer--to keep track of the people who actually still matter in the show. That's the reality of reality television: it is easily forgettable. |
