Ah, how I yearn for the days of KMFA and his head firmly entrenched up Rush's ass.

So it's okay for white people to support Obama, endorse him, and believe in his campaign message but when people of color do it, they are only doing it due
to race? There are many white folks who have CROSSED party lines because they are making an educated decision to look at issues, what each candidate will
bring, and examine other factors. It's very insulting to people of color to basically say that they are not capable of making analytical decisions unlike
white people. WTF
It's amazing how quickly people are turning on Colin Powell... he even EXPLAINED his rationale and people STILL are dismissing his experience, expertise, and research and reducing him to a "basic black man who only supports black people." WTF |

The libs are going to be throwing around the "r-word" until election time and well after if McCain wins.

Before this election, I treated blacks as individuals. I was wrong. They are a clan.

RANDOM REQUEST:
Can any Washingtonians if there are even any here tell me why Dino Rossi accused Christine Gregoire of making RAAAAAAAAACIST comments about his heritage in their last debate??? Also why have there never been any Eye-talian presidents? I feel so underrepresented. |

Dr. King's dream is dead. It's totally about the color of skin for these people. The content of ones character has ZERO bearing on their decision.
Unfortunately, I believe this election has pushed the improvement made in race relations back 60 years. But, it's also funny how as soon as an African American leaves the Liberal, "Pay me now!" plantation, they're labelled an Uncle Tom. |

Vicconius wrote:Actually it's the conservatives that are throwing around the "r-word" (let's be adults- RACE) moreso than libs. Classic republican sleight of hand... bring up a concept then when someone disputes, calls it out, explains, etc. then there's accusations that those "libs" brought it up. This is just like the "Joe the Plumber" fiasco... McCain beats it into the heads of America and now the conserves and Joe himself are accusing the "libs" of exploiting him. |

I appreciate that you made a decision and found wisdom from someone whom you respect and I would say this if you made McCain the choice for you.. it shows you can consider information on your own, make decisions based on that information which can be instinct, fact seeking and others opinions who come from an intellectual or emotional place that resonates with you. It reflects calmness and rationale which often party lines don't allow... and finding someone who may even be different than you on many fronts but still have intelligence that you admire that helps you make conscious decisions.. here here!!! .. you deserve a reward. That reward please leave sucks.. |

Oh, for Fuck's Sake, Bilkis.
Let's compare the content of McCain's character with Obama's. One presidential candidate is calling the other one a terrorist. One presidential candidate picked an unqualified person as VP solely to try to win votes, best interests of the country be damned. One presidential candidate will do ANYTHING to win this election. One presidential candidate is inciting crowds to violence. |

Powell's endorsement is the epitome of racial politics. Shame on him. Simply put, if Obama were white, Powell would not have endorsed him. Period. Shame,
shame on Powell. I've lost all my respect for him.

So it's clear that Oh-Bam-ma is the next President of this broken country.
Good luck Barak... you're going to need it. Four years from now this country will still be in the shitter and blame you for lying to us for thinking that you are the fucking messiah that can "save" us and give us "change" and shit. |
