There are people alive today who believe completely & totally that the planet is only 6000 years old, and that God created it in 6 days. Anything that contradicts the Bible is wrong. I'm thinking people like that are some kind of throwback to a more primitive version of our species. They're not proper members of homo sapiens but some kind of dumb half-step between Neanderthals, Cro-magnons and us. |

The point is, and I hate it that I have to point this out, is that there is no amount of public work (and I dispute his agenda) that will excuse you if you
still insist your are unrepentant and the crimes you committed weren't abominable.
Does this mean, Obama endorses domestic terrorism as a means of political change? No. It just points out that in the atmosphere of Chicago politics, radical associations aren't considered outre`. And if you have enough radical associations, one might conclude you are not only tolerant of them, but just might tend to entertain some notions of your own. If your pastor, your mentors, your political associations are with those people, you're going to get tarred with that brush. Oh, and |

You see it's all relative, note how Phil Gramm being a minor investor in a couple of porn flicks equates to him being a producer in her mind. And a porn producer is just as bad as someone who bombs and attempts to bomb the military personnel and government buildings. It's all relative. |

When will the minorities tire of appointing douchetard carpetbaggers as their annointed leaders? Obama, Ayers, and Wright. All three basically white people
milking black people for all they're worth. "Ignore that I'm part white--whitey's bad! Ignore that I'm wealthy--wealthy people are bad!
Ignore that I've benefitted from being an American--America is bad!"
The only thing more funny is watching the white Obama supporters. While he is a carpetbagger, I do think he has something to offer blacks. Nothing for the white people, but don't bother trying to explain to them that somebody who is a 20 year member of a church too radical for Oprah is not concerned with white folks. |

Let's try to avoid the discussion about double standards. That way we can be just like the Democrats.

It's been shown by psychological studies of conservatives that they don't like new things or changes, and tend to be xenophobic and prefer militaristic solutions to problems. I'll find the study if anyone's interested. |

HaroldBalzaccio wrote:Just out of curiosity, what does that have to do with anything I just posted? But anyway, to answer your question, sure I've seen liberals make fun of Palin's kids and I myself have expressed MAJOR concerns about her religious influences given I think the Wasilla church she attends is a creepy end of days cult that is much much more frightening to me as a Methodist than Rev. Wright's sermons at Trinity bother me as a white American. I don't think I'm any less a "liberal" because I speak my mind or that I support others here saying things that might be offensive to you or anyone else. I mean this is OT. I expect to read posts that attempt to offend me (like merkyl's). |

What's interesting to me is that even though this Kurtz guy was able to discover the facts in his article, the NYTimes was not.
One might think they weren't unbiased. |

The concept of double standards eludes you. You actively make an ass of yourself by perpetuating the idea that all liberals are naive and uninformed. You have no capacity to see anything other than your own warped fangirly point of view. Please just stop. It's not even funny anymore. |

So why aren't the Republicans running with the Ayers connection? Why won't McCain take the gloves off?
McCain claims he's getting tough in the next debate. I'd love to see it. |
