I'm just watching the show on TiVO and noticed it's no longer videotaped... I guess it has to be filmed in order to be in 1080i?
 I really like the feeling of 'being there' that videotape brings. Oh well.

I noticed that too. The picture looks more movie-like. It doesn't have the same feel.

I know what the topic creator means, the way it is just doesnt feel the same. My favorite season will always be the 1st season. Just cause it was amayure-like
and i think it actually made the show better. Plus the season had a great winner.

LOL! Yeah, it seems like I'm just one of a few people who notices this anymore. Yes, it has more of a movie quality and not a reality show one.
I guess the question was if anyone else noticed, or if I was just smoking something  Apparently a couple people noticed.

I feel like for us without HD the quality is worse this season than ever before. Might just be my local cbs broadcast i dunno.

The thing I hate is how when you buy it on iTunes it comes up as a freakin widescreen on your iPod, making it really small.
