Again, that series of votes from one night was the only thing I could find that looked like absolute rigging. If I found more, I would've changed it. I
don't think anyone else here would willingly PM someone else to rig the freakin' ballots because no two users have the exact same (or hell, even
similar) tastes in players.
As for me, I could post screen grabs if you all want at the end of this and I could even chuck all the math into this thing. I would never rig the poll because the entire point of this process was to find a consensus here at Sucks on which players were the best at this game. If I wanted a list that reflected my opinions, I'd have just started my own and began listing right away until I was left with a Top 6 of Rob C/Earl/Tina/Hatch/Parvati/Brian. Luckily, the evidence from the polls supports the fact that 90% of the people chucked their biases aside and voted objectively. Having, say, Julie in the Top 40 isn't a big deal since whomever you'd replace her with has just as iffy a case, etc. I do think their are inherent likability ratings here at Sucks that might screw with the list a bit, but whatever, that's the way it goes and this is the best I can do.

I completely agree with your statement. I didn't throw out what I thought were wrong opinions because I left in a solitary ballot of the five that were obviously spammed through. That opinion is still in the mix. The way they voted didn't bother, it's the fact that they voted five times instead of once. I eliminated four of those ballots out of fairness to everyone else. We all should have a say, just not more than one.
Isn't the point of polling to find out what the popular opinion is? If you think there is something wrong with your results then you throw the whole thing out not make adjustments based on what you personally think are wrong opinions
