That vote count reminded me that she was pretty much in the minority the entire game, two of her votes for the person that left were horrible votes that helped weaken her stake in the game (Brandon & Frank) and that only other vote she made was for one of the most obvious boots ever that the tribe threw a challenge to get rid of. :P She's loved here, but I don't think she deserves the top 40 at all based on pure performance. Potential, maybe, but look at the results. In the minority with no power the whole game.

Regrettably, she's also in the Hall of Fame despite, in my opinion, being a truly minor character that season.

Biggest reason for discounting Cassie is she never EARNED her way to the merge, the way WEAK WOMEN usually do, but having to succeed at the social game and get into a majority alliance. Postmerge it was easy to skate into F3 since she was perceived as a traitor. Cassie did nothing to outplay the women who lost just because they were stuck on Ravu. We saw Lisi fall apart fast when she ended up on the Poor tribe and got exiled a couple times. But Cassie had a soft all the way. You need to shut your racist ass up. Cassie did earn her way to the merge. She wasn't completely horrible the challenges. There is not one challenge during the tribe part of the game where she epically failed at. Not one. She did have a good social game, she connected with Dreamz, Gary, Boo, Stacy, Earl, Yau Man, Michelle, Liliana & even Alex at one point. She did get in a majority alliance, why do you think she made the final 3? She was outcasted early on in Moto and was very close to be one of the first voted off. That's not because of her social game it's because an alliance was formed and she wasn't in it. You discredit her for that people alliances happen. Don't go using "she was on the rich tribe" excuse because it's a bullshit excuse. Yes there was a rich tribe, but it's not like she had any control over what tribe she was at. What did you want her to throw the first immunity challenge so she would end up at the poor tribe? Survivor is a mental game, if someone falls apart because they were on a poor tribe that has nothing do to with Cassandra. Yes, she was lucky on getting on the rich tribe but she wasn't the first survivor to get lucky. Explain Parvati in Micronesia to me. And what the fuck do you mean that Cassie was a traitor? She didn't betray anyone when she didn't have to. She had her main alliance which was Dreamz, and then came Yau Man & Earl but when she relized that she would need to take them out she tried, she pulled in Boo and Stacy. Had Yau left at the final six, she had a very good chance at winning. Had it been a final two, Dreamz could've easily won a challenge and bring her to the final 2. I think Earl may have as well. I think Cassandra played a fantastic game for her circumstances. Cassandra = Deserves to be in the top 30.

Next 5, I predict will be from among: Colby, Twila, Steph, Candice, Cassie, and PG Ethan and Amber are winners most in jeopardy of showing up. Sandra will do better than her gameplay deserves.

She played the best social game of the season and second-best strategic game of Micronesia. Rob dominated All-Stars and completely owned everyone else in the game, and he would've won had Tom/Lex not been his friends before the game and had Lex not been a delusional prick. Julie played a great under-the-radar game after Eliza got spooked and screwed up the young girls' alliance in round 2, reworking her strategy to get as far as she did. Colby was right in league with Tina the entire game and the only reason you can even consider him a bad player is because he chose to take Tina to the end, rather than Keith, which is not that bad when you consider that Colby thought he could beat both, and under those circumstances, you might as well take the person you want to have the 100k more. Was he wrong? Yes, but he came within a vote of winning, so it's not like he was THAT bad. And as for Amanda, I may not like her, but China Amanda did wind up getting James out, and if what was said earlier is true, she was the one smart enough to try and throw the episode 5 challenge in order to save Aaron and James while Todd did nothing.

As far as her voting history, yeah, it kind of sucked, but the first TC was a tie where everyone thought Carl would win some sort of tiebreaker. The second one was neccessary as a big "fuck you" to Silas for him trying to have the elders vote for Lindsay. The vote for Lex was because she kept her word, yeah, that may not have been that smart, but she made sure that no one would have ever thought the sweet southern lady went against the group. Brandon fucked up her second vote for Lex, and Kim P. screwed her over by having to vote for Brandon. You can't discredit her for that especially when she was the last Samburu standing, and she had a chance of staying at the final 5 had Kim not won immunity due to her relationship with Tom. She might not deserve to be that much higher than where she ranked, but when someone like PG is still left who was the same type of player (in the underdog role) except had a much worse social game, T-bird definitely deserves to be there.

I think there are at least as many people around here with a chip on their shoulder against the hot guys\girls people as prejudiced in their favour. Marcus would be MORE popular overall if he was a nerd like Yul or Yao, and Cirie would be LESS respected overall is she looked like Jenna or Parvati. Where the poll is most whacky is in downgrading alpha male challenge whores like Terry, Lex, and Rupert because they are hated at Sucks. And Sucks loves it's Sandras and Twilas - older, bitchy, non-athletic females who manage to go far. When all the results are in, we should compare them with Chapera Rock's all-season rankings that we did in the spring. This is not JUST a popularity poll, but fandom influences votes. There's no doubt in my mind that the results will be at least somewhat skewed because of everyone's personal opinions about the survivors. I don't even have to list examples, just look at the people left and compare that to those who have been posted already. I would definitely like to see CR's poll to see how it compares. The only thing I can say for people picking their favorites is that a lot of times we fall in love with survivors because we think they're playing a really strong game. If Cirie had the same storyline of "getting up off the couch and getting to fourth place" without her strategic success, there's no way she'd be as loved here, and that's just one instance.
