I used to really enjoy the prior contestants' blogs on the website. (Actually, I haven't even checked the CBS site--the blogs are still gone, right? Maybe I should check the forums. If that's where they went to I'll be pretty embarrassed.

After so many years spent watching this damn show, I am loving having the Probst blogs with tidbits of info and commentary. The little reveals are
interesting.

My guess is Sugar will get a lift out of EI. In the part about Dan he mentioned how easy it should have been to find the HI. Chances are she finds it,
plus we get the waterworks about her dad.

Sugar finds the HI? | ||

So we are concluding that Sugar FINDS the HI. If she does, or if she lets them THINK that she does, she may instantly replace the little seen Jacquie in the
Rota4 alliance.
Jacquie only line was an instant Survivor killer "It's like we're never going to lose!" which means of course, that they do, and particularly, she does. |

She had more lines than that, and I don't see her being replaced, Marcus REALLY likes her, as do the others. They don't just replace alliance members,
it's never really worked that way. They might bring Sugar in but why would Sugar tell anyone she found it.

Does Jacques get screwed over? That facial expression of hers in the opening credits, before the smile, looks kind of like paranoid. Or like WTF? :)

Not as paranoid as Michelle! (BB10 Michelle that is, not Survivor Michelle.)

I have a question... are we basing the IC loss to Kota (and probable Paloma boot) solely on this teaser?
One Castaway is tossed around like a rag doll during a Reward Challenge. Will her performance cause her tribe to toss this rag doll right out of Gabon? Is there anything else that backs this up? Are spoilers suggesting Kota loses the IC? Or could this be a red herring? The reason i ask this, and it's really out there so you might just want to ignore this, but I saw a quick snippet of a commercial tonight. At the very end of it, there's a VO of Randy (i'm pretty sure it's him but i could be wrong) saying "They shouldn't blame him for being idiots, but they are!" 'him' not being Randy but someone other guy he's referring to. I sat there glued to the tv with that running through my head. What IF the teaser above is a red herring and they're pumping it up only cause Paloma gets injured? Usually aren't most boots (or reasons for boots) based on something the bootee screwed up at the IC and not way back at the RC? Especially when bootee doesn't even participate in the IC. Perhaps Fang does lose the IC and the idiots on Fang are wanting to boot one of the guys for something they feel was his fault. (like wanting to boot Ken cause he didn't get the puzzle done before Bob, when in reality it was the sliders/swimmers fault for not getting the pieces to him quick enough). This could explain Randy's VO. Anyway, like i said, it was out there. But after hearing that VO, i couldn't help but post my thoughts. Of course, if i was mistaken and the VO wasn't Randy after all, my point is moot. Carry on. |

All of the webclues are related to Kota. That is usually a dead giveaway that the action including the boot is at that tribe. |

I'm not convinced the overeating one is Kota. One of the web scenes from last week has someone from Fang complaining that folks are eating too much for the
amount of food they have. Sorta different than what we saw on the broadcast, where they seemed to be quite collectively gathering all sorts of food.
Yeah, I have been pondering Ken as the boot, too. He's not a physical asset, and if he blows, or is perceived to blow, the non-physical part of a challenge, he is useless to them. I started thinking that way mostly because of Survivor Fever's latest boot specs (Paloma or Ken or Dan). I don't have any idea what intelligence they have, they may be speccing, too, but it looks like they arean't even sure which tribe is going to tribal council. Aside from the Ken/Bob role, without knowing how anyone swims, I dunno who might win that last challenge. I'd be inclined to guess Kota - we saw that Crystal's flat running ability didn't translate well into hill-climbing. She's probably got good stamina, but might be a really bad swimmer. Just socio-economically, I'd guess Susie and GC don't have a lot of swimming experience, and the kookie kutter girls do. But, it's an awfully long run back up that hill - Fang might be better at gutting that out. I still think Paloma will be the first boot from Kota. If she really had as miserable a time as her friend of a friend said, maybe she does stay out there ostracized for a little longer. |

In the boot analysis SFnet says they are speccing out Fang as the winner. They generally do list the vulnerable members from both tribes.
....Crystal couldn't even run well in that opening challenge. That showed me she had no intention of winning that challenge.

Hi MESSers! Long time, no post. I have to agree with most of what has already been posted: Paloma is the rag doll and next in line when Kota goes to TC. Too
weak and too silly. Sugar is the exile, being sad about the loss of her father. I think she's smart enough to find it too. We'll just have to see. It
makes sense that Kota would be the one's overeating, as they seem to have an abundance of food with the extras they won last week. I still think that Kota
will win the IC tho - and either Dan or Ken will go. They think Dan has the idol and unless he can convince them otherwise, he's out.

I remember seeing a huge dish of rice made last week and was thinking - Damn, you folks need to make that last. I believe it was Fang but I'm not totally
sure. Kota has the fishing equipment as well, so they should never completely worry about food. Fang has a home made fishing hook.
I think Fang is the tribe overeating., though I think it's obvious that they Olympian mauls the girls in the reward challenge. |

Kota had the huge plate of food. Marcus was serving "Rice Pudding" to Ace.
