He did do other things in the episode that were smart strategically. It's just that he seems to LOVE Marcus so much. Maybe he didn't realize how that
would be used in editing. I hope he's watching those scenes and cringing.

You guys are butter in the warm hands of the editors. I don't see how it is possible that Charlie did well at U.Penn and Fordham Law and survived a year
at one of the toughest law firms in the business WITHOUT knowing to be wary of egocentric straight men. He's already a survivor of years of a highly
competitive environment. Underestimate him at your own peril.

I think the producers told them they want drama -- so Marcus and Charlie are playing around cuz drama = more screen time.

Are you SURE you are talking about Charlie here?I wouldn't have thought so before this episode, but he was all but saying, "He likes me! He really really likes me!" He seems to be so astonished that the straight, cool jock actually wants to spend time with him. Charlie seems smart and successful based on his bio, but that type of stuff can throw anyone for a loop, because Survivor is all about high school. |
