While Kota is showing signs of looking to the end game, Fang is still marred in their present sorry state. The important tribe is Kota and the winner should be in their present ranks:
With that, lets start with the failing players:

Susie: (INV1)
Without a single confessional and very little to go on about her place in Fang's dynamics, Susie is still a complete unknown.

Kelly (UTR1)
She doesn't have a story to tell, she has been clearly defined by the camera and by other players as a weak link and she is now out of the loop, an isolated voter against Ace.

Jacquie (INV1)
She plays a small role in the 'Onion Alliance' but we barely got to know her point of view other than she likes her team. If that team gets switched, she's left without a story. Being ignored at her first tribal isn't a good sign either.

Ken (UTR1)
He saw his airtime significantly reduced. More importantly, he was featured during Randy's rant about his idiotic tribe. Ken could still be on a journey to gain confidence but, if so, the editors thought that his challenge performance was enough to keep that journey going. That means he's on a short journey.

GC (MORN2)
He was called a cancer and Jeff didn't try to spin his story positively in the recap when he simply said "GC quit". GC is playing dumb survivor by insisting to eat 3 meals a day. The camera shot of GC unable to break a small branch is an indication that his role is to play the "Dumb Player". We are meant to laugh at his inadequacies.

Crystal: (MORP2)
A nicer episode for Crystal but showing her crying over something as unimportant as blankets hurt the image of the tough competitor. More importantly, one would point to Sugar having a much more personal reason for crying to say that Crystal's own scene wasn't that important. Her future is bleak because Crystal rejoiced after Gillian's boot, saying nothing about Gillian being nice, or having a thought about Gillian picking her first. More importantly, while Matty and Dan were nowhere to be seen when Randy said he was in a tribe of idiots, Crystal was front and center on our screen.

Bob (MOR2)
We've just been told that Bob is insignificant to the story:
- While no one blamed Bob for losing the challenge, Bob wasn't given a chance to tell us where he went wrong and how he hopes it doesn't come back to bite him.
- When Corinne proposed an alliance, Bob wasn't given a chance to share his thoughts with the viewers.
- Whatever Bob had to say at Tribal was left out of the episode.

Dan (UTR1)
There wasn't enough of Dan to give him tone but his presence felt good in this shipwreck that is Fang.

Matty (UTR1)
Another player that was put on hold in this episode and his story may have time to grow but he seriously lacks substance to be considered as a winner.

Randy (MORN3)
The snarky narrator tells it like it is but his interventions aren't followed by solutions or insights into the end-game.

Sugar (OTTP4)
The star of the episode, I would say that Sugar had one of the best episodes ever for someone who wasn't about to be booted. Her stay on exile island hit all the right notes. She showed insight into her own shortcomings, courage in overcoming them, deep personal feelings and even an outlook into the game. She could become more than just a sweetheart, she could be on a "Journey to Prove she is Strong" but the extent of her edit will be to come out of this experience tougher than she was before.

Not Eliminated but Unlikely to win: (I won't eliminate him for something as simple as his second episode INV especially because of the uniqueness of the 2 hour premiere)
Ace CPN4
Yes, he could be getting OTT but I don't think he has reached that level yet. Although his arrogance is really coming through and the full blame of voting out the somewhat likeable Paloma was put on his shoulders and we were told, by many sources that the way he did it was unfair, Ace was still given editing support for his choice. Paloma was said to be creating waves, the only obstacle to Kota's perfect harmony. Ace could cause a lot of damage in this game if, as Jeff commented during a challenge, he is able to flip over a few times.

The Contenders

For now, I see 3:

Marcus (MORN3)

His "we're stuck (or was it "we suck"?) with Paloma" and the fake tear he shed while smiling to Ace at TC didn't endear him to the audience. It was the first big sign of arrogance. That was clearly negative. Although he was seen discussing strategy with his alliance, Marcus main intervention before TC was used to show irony when Kota eventually lost the challenge. However, boding well for his chances, the editors manipulated the early fishing scene to incorporate the shot from week 1 where Jacquie and Corinne applaud his success. Another redeeming scene was at TC where Marcus told us he was getting along with Ace. We know his plan is to let Ace direct things so that he could dig his own grave so this episode proved that Marcus is in control.

Charlie (MOR2)

He gave us a rundown of Kota's dynamics at the start of the episode and, later, he explained the whole strategy behind Kota's vote. He also displayed some empathy for Paloma during the reading of the votes. However, he was another player who wasn't shown intervening during Tribal. Charlie's edit has some substance but we aren't hearing anyone talking about his qualities.

Corinne (CP4)
We are reminded that she is smart, Charlie adding that she gets this game. She convinced Bob to join their alliance as easily as she said she could. Maybe her confessional about not having to tell Bob more than what he needed to know was a way to set her up for a blindside. She could also be under-estimating Sugar and Ace so that she could fall victim to their idol. That means there is doubt surrounding Corinne's future and doubt always accompanies the winner.
Corinne has to be considered a front-runner for the win. She has been fleshed out as someone who will have no remorse to play this game hard. She is central to the main alliance. She has been featured in confessionals in each episode and at her first tribal council. She has been talked about by her fellow players as someone that can be trusted and that is smart. Those are the two main qualities of the Sole Survivor.
