If Ken doesn't win, then Edgic officially failed. I'll say it personally. Also, if Edgic failed, then I pray for Bob to win, because otherwise this
season is looking dim.

I don't mean to be harping, but how has Sugar been OTTP this entire season except for the fact that she giggles and cries? She hasn't received one
single scene that has been superfluous to the endgame -like fishing or doing a singalong- it's all been about scope about if X,Y or Z happens down the
line. I don't think she's even had a TC question that was fluff and not about reinforcing a theme that Probst brings up.
On the rewatch, and my gut with the story being crafted, Kenny doesn't fit -most telling is when he said Bob will go either way, and it's lose/lose for Bob -just (to me) doesn't fit with the story being crafted and the strings being pulled. I gotta go with the manipulation of the sun/star and the music with Matty/Sugar on Marcus' boot episode. Matty -although has weak TC comments, did get the reward footage while Kenny tonight did not -along with the loved one visit (only strategy with his sister). Gabon has been too vast about the land for the winner not to note it repeatedly. |

Kenny did have a confessional about how "Gabon truly is Eden" tonight as he flew in the helicopter ("for the first time!").
I pray that you're right cl, because I can't stand Kenny. |

Honestly, if Bob Dannis his way to a win, it would explain EVERYTHING. Granted, I don't think he'll win...but if he does, then his edit has never been
that bad. No INVs, a couple unnecessary OTT ratings. And it would explain the Fang hatred and the Good vs. Evil storyline.

Not to mention he DID get an introductory confessional (and I happen to think those are very important most of the time).

But you're right, she hasn't been OTTP all the time - sometimes the real person oozes out, like at Randy's TC. |

If Bob won? well, he certainly hit all the right notes in the premiere episode and then at the crucial switch Probst drives home the importance of not
sellecting Bob- but man, the guy went unnoticed after the Corrine duping him as a fifth until he cried at the reward on the mountain. I'm leaning fourth
place -any conflict with jurors? even if we know he'd win in a blowout (think Jenn Lyon and the shower issue with Tom)

Are all the episodes still up on CBS.com?

If Bob won? well, he certainly hit all the right notes in the premiere episode The first episode IS the season as far as I'm concerned. I'm almost convinced you could do edgic just by watching the first episode (if you know what to look for - that's the tricky part). |

oh. okay. in that case, sugar should not make final three -she's out final five or four. Usually a complex edit means it ties the themes, issues, scope
of the entire season so it can return between juror and finalist and there is some tension. that is the only reason for complex edits- the personality is
irrelevant.

There is no mistaking that Sugar's edit has been straight-forward OTT. Her personality is intertwined with her edit. There are many ways to work around the
personality for a winner to be a winner. They don't have to show her crying.
Plus post-game interviews show that Sugar is a real bitch and a real slut. They didn't show that. That's editting. She's OTT. Tying with the theme isn't complex; development is. You can say "OMG I love Gabon" or "Adam didn't bite that apple!" but that alone doesn't warrant CP. Refrence to a theme is simply a refrence; no development. Sugar got her main development in Ep3. The rest is simply in-your-face love her or hate her. |

Anyone think Kenny's gorilla confessional was interesting?
"They're orphaned and have no where left to go" Kind of foreshadowed where he stands now. Could be taken two ways though. |

Given just how bizarre the season has been, editting-wise, I have a suggestion. To anyone who has a lot of free time before the finale, I suggest we get five
people to go back and watchdog each of the final 5, just watch them and see if there's anything we missed, perhaps during the Marcus chronicles.

I thought Jeff Probst's language during the previouslies was interesting. "Then, Kenny changed the plan and ORDERED Crystal to vote out Corrine."
I don't know what it means but I thought it was a strange way to describe what I saw.

I'm rewatching again.... and Matty's "I just need to find the strength to..... finish" is winner-worthy.... but his edit lacks. He's too
MOR for me.
