To my way of thinking, the entire story has been building up to Sugar using her idol to save the person who has been edited as best representing 'good' in the battle against evil. That is the raison d' etre of Sugar's edit.

How is that not PP? How is it PP? My sister always cries at the family visit episodes. That doesn't mean everyone should automatically get PPs for them, as my sisters reaction isn't what ratings are based on.

Just fyi. This is a forum for edgic-based posts. It's not some fan club thread. Crystal was edgically eliminated by Episode 5. If LMKSDADFJA is going to post here about how Crystal wins, give some reasons. Unfortunately there aren't any so why bother posting here? =)

Less ratings based and more theme related, but what about the possibility of Sugar and Matty as final 2 with Matty taking it? I'll admit that to me, the ratings seem to support a Kenny win more than a Matty one, but as the season gets closer and closer to the end, it seems to me that Kenny's the snake in this Eden. Not that the snake can't win, but, well... Heck, didn't Matty just embrace working to provide for his own personal Eve? And I can't help but think that the three of them have some of those "subtle" ties (like the Matty/Sugar Star of David thing.) In this last episode, Matty talked about wanting to grow up and face the big issues. Growing up is also something that both Kenny and Sugar addressed in previous episodes... I don't believe anybody else remaining (or even in this season) has said anything similar (could be wrong, though.) Just another thought, but early in the episode Kenny called Bob a dumb player, and though maybe Ken's right, he wound up looking a lot like Corrine after calling many of her foes "stupid" or "moronic." At the end of tribal, I felt that he was the one with egg on his face. I dunno. Maybe that's just his late in the season doubt? Anyway.. just figured I'd throw this up on the board and see if it can positively color the board's conversation. Jeremy

You're actually one of the MOST biased, seeing how AGAINST certain players you are. Bias works both ways, you know. You've been extremely elitist & snobby in here lately and it's bumming me out cos I really used to like your posts. Bottom line: There's people in here who admit they're human and not above the rest (people like myself, OTH, Chap, CL, etc.) who admit their mistakes and admit their biases and whatever else and just do their best anyway. And then there are other people, who are so caught up in themselves and how awesome/correct they are all the time that anyone that doesn't agree with them is biased, stupid, unreasonable, a troll, or all of the above. When you are just as biased yourselves.

The only time I ever admitted to a slight bias this season was with Corinne's first debated INV1, which I said I felt she was too good a contender to give her one. But I did give her the second one and eliminated her at that. I understand bias works both ways, but when bias goes beyond the rules of edgic (and only when these people are fans of these players) it bugs me. If someone sincerely thinks someone wins, and they aren't their number one fan, then I'm intrigued and will want to know how they see this. But, if they are picking that person as a contender just because they like them and somehow want everyone else in the world to agree with them (even though they're clearly incorrect) then I have a problem. I really don't like any player this season, thus, no bias. There are just some I dislike more than others. I've admitted my mistakes. I was completely wrong with Marcus. Could I be wrong with Kenny? Sure! But there is NO way that Crystal or Sugar will win. It just will not happen. Any of them winning would mean that edgic needs to be completely revamped and 50x worse than the phenomena we know as Danni. But I just can't sit quiet and see people either just post illogical things that they're pulling out of their asses! That's the point of this thread; finding the winner. If I completely disagree, I'll call 'em on it! Maybe my point of view is wrong. As it stands (in my head), it isn't. Dislike me if you wish, sure, everyone has a bias. But as soon as bias affects winner contention or ratings, you bet your ass I'm going to have something to say about it.

I cried when Kenny got all choked up, I cried at the Sugar/Ashes scene, I cried when Matty proposed, I even cried for Corinne's family and her being happy that her brother, who loves her because she mean, is there. I cried when Crystal's daughter spoke. I really cried at how happy Bob was when he saw his wife...I even cried because we didn't get to see a whole lot of Susie and her hubby. heck... i cried when Jeff brought out the damn phone for heaven's sake!
