If this has been discussed, please feel free to lock and flame. I did do a board search before posting this though.
On the survivor phoenix site, up at the top right, there is a phrase: "mekage me ne tsin minal".. I googled that and found that it is a Gabonian proverb that means "Promises cause lies" in a Gabonian language called...Fang. Look here: http://translate.google.c...%2Btsin%2Bminal%26hl%3Den Scroll down. 4th from the bottom. Is this a clue? Again, so VERY sorry if this is somewhere else or common knowledge!! I dealt first hand with at least two know it alls last season who knew nothing  Here we go again. I told you, just because

Trixie, I'm not saying the clues are random, I'm saying that at this point they're so vague that they allow anyone who happens upon anything close
to the real meaning to gloat in the end. I specifically remember the "x-ray" clue from last season. That could've meant anything
and saying otherwise is misguided.

This is amazing! If this does point to the winner being from Fang then it definitely has to be Randy, he is the only Fang tribe mate with a chance at winning

When I googled this, *nothing* came up but survivor phoenix website, and this webpage with these proverbs. There are a LOT on that page that could fit the game of survivor. So why pick that one? Why pick that particular phrase? Could it be just a general cool little blurb on the site or is it pointing us to something? Was it there this whole time?

Agree. I went back and found the big long phoenix clue thread and the post where VG explained all the clues. I was amazed at how simple they really were, and how the simple fact that they were posted early and throughout the season pointed to the end-game and details we wouldn't know until later. it's hard not to take it too far though. I've always wondered this btw- what is the story on VG/survivorphoenix? how does this person know so much and so many details (like the pot-stirring comment- that's pretty specific). |
