tsk... tsk... Riliss, your cynicism might have more credence if the facts backed it up. No ads, no sponsors. Just vidcaps, spoilers and riddles. In the words of Tina Fey, suck on it.

I try to find a new way to do things every season, so as not to get bored, but it really does get tedious to have people complain no matter which way the information is shared. After reading the many complaints over sourced spoilers over the past couple of years, I decided to leave it up to others to decide how to cover Gabon. By an overwhelming majority, the choice was to show only evidence which could be found in vidcaps.

I ran the poll with the infamous "S files" picture.



The caption "there is never silence" was simply a response to those who were complaining (ironic, isn't it?) that Gabon had no spoilers. There always are spoilers.

As for the meaning of the actual graphic:

• S Files = Spoiler Files
• S = Sugar, Susie, Science (aka F3)
• As some have pointed out, "the truth is out there" did reference the fact that something that was shown in a pre-game interview which hinted at the end game.

For the most part, I lived up to the vidcap-evidence-only type of spoiling, with one notable exception. I tried to steer people in the right direction, with some of the captions on the episode vidcaps, as long as vidcap evidence supported it. At times, it proved challenging, such as the first tribe switch, where there was no evidence as to what happened to the left over player. At other times, it proved maddening, as when people insisted Bob was Corinne in the F5 video. All in all, the promo editors are great are providing just the right amount of material for spoiling if one is willing to spend the time doing it.

I have gone through the thread. I wish I were half as clever as some of you seem to think I am. It's impossible to answer all the questions, but here are some responses:

My big indulgence was posting "Congratulations, Bob Crowley!" under the heading of pronounciation.


I must apologize for the confusion about the color riddle. This was a riddle for S18 which I had intended to link to a picture of a collection of Survivor buffs, but I could not find the post. It was only when someone pointed out to me that people were linking it with Gabon that I realized my mistake. Bring on the hate!
