If true, that's actually kind of odd, considering I spent the majority of BB9 bitching about one houseguest, rooting for another houseguest that everyone hated, discussing the merits of powermuffs, and posting the same spider picture over and over (see page 2 of this thread). Nothing particularly fancy or out of the ordinary. On a side note, I was rather amused to notice today that some of the OT forumers consider me a "ghostnic" after my drunken derailing of the political thread last night.

I was just referred to there as "that somebody". Blackie Lawless from WASP would be so proud. Anyway, back to spiders... I recently (happily) informed my uncle that the "tarantula" he used to own, which he found on the job in a shipment of leather, was not a tarantula at all, but a Brazilian wandering spider, which is infamously dangerous. I wonder how he feels now about the fact that he allowed it to crawl up his bare arm. ETA: This pic of the Brazilian wandering spider, in case SA is curious...
