Actually, Brian thinks he's a Republican but everyone knows he's a Democrat.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

That's a little disappointing knowing that Scout is in the same party I am.

Dr Will Hatch two point oh wrote: It's not so black and white, so to speak. Who knows about Dalton, but there are many other reasons to favor the "democrat" way. Social issues are huge for many people. Even if you're not for "the collective good", you might be driven from the "republican" side by their (generalizing here) views on religion, gays (and marriage/unions), guns, abortion, etc. I would imagine there are lots of individualists who identify more with "democrats" for those reasons. Oh, and Sandra, that Brian C quip was gold! |

And just because they are 'affiliated' or registered as a Democrat or a Republican means they are going to vote for their respective nominee? I don't think so.Where did anyone say anything about voting? The topic is called "Political affiliations". Here in NC, one can look up statewide voter registration. Let's see which NC residents are registered, and what party. Austin: Republican Candice: Unaffiliated Ted: Democrat Sandra: Democrat Crystal (S17): Democrat |

Hatch comes off a lot like a libertarian to me, especially with not paying taxes and all.
I'm not sure about Rudy, maybe hes a lot like a Heinleinian "I put my trust in the Navy first and I hate the government but don't give a shit about big business" types. At least he seems that way from the excepts I read about Rudys book. That's the only Survivor related book I haven't read yet, is it any good to anyone who has read it? |

The gay, the Asian, and the black are all Obama supporters, while the two straight white people are Republicans, lol.

Corinne and Marcus as GOP makes SO MUCH SENSE.

The gay, the Asian, and the black are all Obama supporters Well the gaes are always democrats, that's no surprise. I'm pretty sure Republican Afro-Americans all turned Democrat for this election though. Don't wanna start yet another race debate here, but let's just be honest. Cue plat in.... 3 2 1 .... |

Yes, Corinne is non-religious\agnostic and supports gar marriage. That puts her at odds with the social conservative right.
But I doubt if her heart bleeds for the underclass. That means NO to higher taxes to support the likes of Susie and Sugar. Marcus being from Georgia = better than ever odds of him voting GOP. Especially since he's white and wasn't raised by parents with hippy values like Parvati.
