I'm really liking this season. My pet peeve is still editing as they've been really ignoring some people. Jacquie didn't even pop up until after
the IC. In a season of 20, its expected people will get the editing shaft, which is why seasons of 16 are much better. I can't think of anyone in China
that didn't have a good edit at one point or another. But Gabon is doing well, not great, but the only thing that really bugs me is that editing wise, the
only viable candidate seems to be Marcus. I wish they hadn't made so many people have a string of UTRs or INVs.
But last episode was great. Everything went awesome. At first I didn't like the division in the Fang tribe, because I liked members on both sides. But it worked out at the switch when they got split up (except for Matty) and the outcasts were able to pull in Kelly. Speaking of Kelly, this girl is hilarious because she's such a trainwreck. I wish they would have shown more of her. I'm sure she's not as dumb as she appears to be, and she was friends with sweet, sweet Paloma so I like her. I loved when she turned on Old Kota. While I like Ace, it was nice to see him knocked down a peg. Glad Jacquie got the boot, she wasn't adding much to the show. Though I have mixed feelings about her post-show. She seems pretty bitter about it, and contradicts herself when she says that Fang made a good decision but then saying they made a bad decision because she was strong. She also is really bitter towards Kelly, saying she was stupid to flip, but Kelly was getting no where with Old Kota, so she did the right thing. But she also showed she was a great strategist. It could be hindsight, but she had a good idea of where Charlie/Marcus were and her position in the onions, and had her back-up with Ace and Sugar. NuFang seems much more interesting than NuKota right now, because the Old Kotas on NuKota (tongue twister But NuFang has potential, powershift wise. The minority now could easily change things up with the idol. I just hope that Ken/GC/Crystal are smart and don't vote out Kelly next, because it sounds like they are going to, since Jacquie/Kelly were the most vulnerable this past ep. But I could definitely see them settling to boot Kelly next, now that Jacquie is gone from Ace/Sugar. Then Matty could easily flip, tell Sugar who they're voting for and gain a majority. We'll see, it'll be interesting for sure. |

It's not too different from what we've seen this season so far especially since there's only be 3-4 episodes. There was a lot of people in China that didn't get a good edit. A lot of people like Aaron, Frosti, Erik, Aaron, etc. weren't developed that much but that's to be expected in any Survivor |

Other than Zoe, almost everyone got a fair amount of face time in Marquesas.
Aaron was developed as a leader, and had a strong boot episode. Erik had 3-4 strong episodes, Frosti was never INV1 as much as Kelly, Susie, Jacquie, etc are. |

The editors got me! I was expecting a Sugar blindside but they faked me out!

Wow really? I loved that episode! The challenges were pretty close and I thought it was cool to have the elephant thing and highlight the location for a
change

chapera rocks wrote:Well you're talking about after the whole season was done. We're barely into Gabon. At 3 episodes we really hadn't seen much of Rotu besides Gabriel, Kathy, and John. Aaron was not developed at all unless you consider the leader title being developed. I only remember Erik for trying to work his way into China but it wasn't really development as much as trying to give him some camera time before he got voted off. I don't know what INV1 is |

I was really shocked that they didn't vote for sugar because it was 100% the obvious thing to do, but i was shocked and I hated GC so that was great!!

I wasn't shocked at all because if we think something is the smart move....Fang will do the opposite and sabotage themselves.

I hated the introduction where Jeff re-wrote history again. It's not so much that I totally disagree that Fang is sucking but I don't like my
intelligence insulted

In Jeff's blog, he was talking about how he was shocked that people said Fang was stupid to vote out Jacquieie instead of Kelly. He basically said what I
was thinking. But the way the show has been edited I think Probst is an idiot. He's the one who's been bitching about challenge strength being the only
important thing in the recaps.
This episode kind of sucked. The elephant thing was boring. If I want to see an elephant on TV, I'll turn on Animal Planet. This is Survivor. I want to see strategizing and fighting not elephants and electric fish. The challenges sucked and were boring as hell. Throwing and catching fruit, and rolling a ball down a hill. I just couldn't get excited during the challenges this week. Which surprised me because aren't the challenges what Burnett is getting his weekly boner over nowadays? Stategizing sucked. GC quits again showing how he sucks at life. Crystal searches Sugar's bag. So clichéd. I really didn't know whether Sugar or GC would go home but the show managed to make me not really care. I hated GC and don't really care about Sugar so I guess something good came out of this crapfest. This show needs to start developing its characters more or I will end up not caring about anything that happens. |

It might be useful to have what people say in their parting speeches:
Tribal Council #1 Matty: (votes Michelle) Michelle, I know its been a rough couple of days, I know its been hard to keep our attitudes up, you're just too negative, you're bringing me down, you're bring the rest of us down, I'm sorry. Susie: (votes Michell) I voted for you Michelle tonight because socially it's hard to interact with you, and quite honest, you are stronger than I am, I mean you kicked ass at that first challenge. We'll see you soon. GC: (votes Michelle) My vote is for Michelle because that's the name I heard the most today and I was trying to vote with the rest of the group, so sorry it had to be you. Ken: (votes Michelle) Michelle, I tried really hard to save you but if I dind't vote with the group, then they wouldn't trust me at all. I'm very sorry. Dan: (votes Michelle) Michelle, I don't like doing this but you broke my trust with Kenny and if I can't trust you, you're useless to me in this game. Michelle: (votes Gillian) I think you're the weakest one on the tribe, that's pretty much it, for weak ones, but you are the weakest. Crystal: (votes Michelle) Last one chosen, first one to leave, maybe your life lesson in this is maybe you'll learn to speak your mind. Gillian: (votes Michelle) My vote for you is simply based on the fact that so many people want to be you so desperately and it looks like you haven't been from the moment you got here. And it's been a drain for you and I think for everybody else. Good luck to you and sorry about it but I don't think you want to be here, and with your whole attitude, I don't think you should be. Randy: (votes Michelle) Go warm up. Tribal Council #2 Dan: (votes Jillian) Jillian, you're a sweet woman and I'll miss you but I think this is where the group is going. For all I know, I could be me. I can't intend to be disruptive. Nevertheless, that's what I am going with. Ken: (votes Jillian with mean face) Gillian you may look like a nice old granny, but underneath that mask is something different. GC: (votes Jill) My vote is for Gillian, I am just hoping to make this a stronger tribe. You're a great woman. I'm sorry that you have to leave. Gillian: (votes Kenny) My vote tonight is for Kenny because basically, I just feel he doesn't have a clue a lot of the time. I don't know if he thinks he as strong as he thinks he is. Good luck Kenny. Matty: (votes Jillian) Jillian, I voted you out of here, I love your energy, but you haven't been able to fit in this tribe like you needed to. Sorry, good luck. Randy: (votes Jil) Sorry, I wish it wasn't you, but it is. Crystal: (votes Gillian) Right now, this is a physical game and you just don't have it. I'm sorry, it was great knowing you but you gotta go. Susie: (votes Gillian) Hey Gillian, I am just voting with the tribe, for all I know I could be blindsided right now, but anyway thanks for the tips. I'll miss you. Tribal Council #3 Kelly: (votes Ace) I'm voting for you because you tried to get me in an alliance in the beginning but I saw right through you. So you can take you, and your little sidekick emotional mob(?) face outta here. Corinne: (votes Paloma) I really like you, and I didn't want to do this, but I had to go with the majority. I'm very sorry. I think there will be great things in store for you. Marcus: (votes Pa-Lo-Muh) Palomita, I'm sorry but it was just time to do this. Paloma: (votes Ace) This is pretty much self-explanatory. Ace: (votes Paloma) Unfortunately, you know exactly why you are leaving, it is for the strength of the tribe. No ill will. Best of luck. Sugar: (votes Paloma) Sorry dude, better you than me. Bob: (votes Paloma) Sorry Paloma, but we need a strong tribe and you're the weakest link. Hope to see you afterward. Jacquie: (votes Paloma) Looks up and doesn't say anything. Charlie: (votes Paloma) I probably like you more than anyone else on our tribe but if you're going to come out on Survivor without a physical bone in your body, you probably should have come up with a few more tricks. Tribal Council #4 Matty (votes Jackie): Jacquie, this wasn't my decision and sorry I had to do this, but, uh, good luck. Kelly (votes Jackie): Sorry. Crystal (votes Jackie): It was great knowing you but you gotta go. Ken (votes Jacky): Jacquie, I'm really sorry, but it's so hard to trust anyone, right now, especially if they just came to our tribe. I wish I got to know you a lot sooner. Ace (votes Kelly): You know you voted for me last time, there's nothing like returning the favor. GC (votes Jackie): My vote is for Jackie, I don't really want to cast this vote, but unfortunately, this is how my girl wants to vote tonight. I think you are a strong player and it would have been smarter to keep you but unfortunately, that's just how it is. Jacquie (votes Kelli): No comment, and almost forgets to show ballot. Tribal Council #5 Sugar (votes GC): I'm only voting for you because you really want to go home and I am really sorry to see you go because I think you really are a cool person. GC (votes Kelly): My vote is for Kelly, because I had to vote for somebody. Crystal (votes GC): You wanted to go home so you get your wish. Ken (votes GC): GC, you were like a brother to me out here, and I feel that you know, you're shot at the legs and, and you want to end your misery, so I gotta let you go, buddy. Take care. Ace (votes GC): Man, I wish you all the best, I hope everything works out. Kelly (votes GC): In life, and in any situation, it's all what you make of it. Here's your wish. Matty (votes GC): GC, it's just not working out for you here anymore, so, it's time for you to go buddy. |
